I was 7 years old and watched every week for a new episode on our cabinet model RCA Victor, the best dad could afford. Nobody locked their doors, for we were neighbors, and shared with each other freely with absolute trust. I had a good childhood. These reruns are a fine reminder of what humanity has lost. It makes my heart sad.

This is one of the funnier eps. I watched this show when new. I was age 10 when it was canceled. I am surprised Kate never had the hotel taken from her. Joe was a con artist in this, but it saved Kate her necklace. The two women in this ep remind me of the Baldwin sisters of The Waltons.
