Belt in Oil, Dayco' s idea and Ford and PSA followed it. Then, Dayco did an enhanced version of this belt and have better results.

Purtech engines from PSA, AVOID at ALL COSTS. I've had 2 engines that failed with damaged wet Cambelts. They say 2018 cars are better? Please read data not submitted by PSA and ensure your engine has a long warranty. Beware!

If you make sure to test the belt at every service, you should be fine, as well as change engine oil at correct intervals with the correct type. Wet belts have been in use in diesels for a long while now. Not perfect no but it does reduce friction massively.

Fuck downsizing, best engines are 4 cylinders. I drive citroen C3 1.2 puretech without turbo. Every time I press throttle I feel disappointed, but then I remember my engine will last much longer than any 3 cylinder turbo and it makes me happy 😁

Мамкин гонщик ?😂 для повседневной поездки идеальный мотор в плане расхода топлива . У него только один минус, это ремень грм в масляной ванне. Тут лучше каждые 60т менять или через 3-4 года , всеже топливо попадает в картер к маслу и приводит к повышенному износу ремня

Very very bad engine, problems timing belt after about 90.000km instead of 175.000km and huge leaking oil problems as from 110.000 km. One litre of oil / 850km in the end. You've been warned.
