Final recap on the Peugeot 3008 GT Sport Plug-in Hybrid AWD and its certainly a thumbs up from me.
This is a car that is super impressive, with its sporty exterior to the high end look inside. It has all the mood cons that most car drivers would be looking for, as well as some cool extras like the massage function on the driver’s seat.
Some of my favourite features of the car would have to be the large panoramic sunroof, boot space, stylish inside interior, Nappa leather seats, Apple Car Play, wireless charging to name a few.
If there were any cons with this car, I would say that the rear and 360-degree reversing camera is a little grainy and could be sharper, but still fine to use the way it was. I also didn’t like the position of the cruise control function which is hidden behind the steering wheel.
Picking the car up from the city gave me the opportunity to drive the car on the freeway at speeds of 110kmh as well as well as doing trips around my local area. The car handled both so well and really is a super smooth ride. I was impressed at how quiet the car is whilst driving.
Charging the car is super simple, but as mentioned before I would suggest getting a charging station for home, to speed up the charge time. For me to charge the car using the charger provided which plugged into my domestic power point, was taking approx. 6 hours to charge back to 100%.
Using the car for a week, I used just under a ¼ of a tank of fuel. This was mainly used when driving on the freeway to collect and return the car. If I had only driven the car on my usual day to day routine, going too and from work, picking up and dropping kids off to school and after school activities I would have used much less fuel if any at all. I was doing majority of these smaller local trips on full electric mode and getting just over 50km of distance in full electric mode from a full charge.
I can totally see my family and I owning Peugeot 3008 GT Sport Plug-in Hybrid and would recommend if looking for a new family car to certainly go and check it out for yourself too.
