Would have been nice to actually test some of the top-trim equipment: cameras, sensors, headlights, safety features, etc. Reviews always miss this stuff out..

I had an E208 when the car was first launched. The electric driving experience was great in terms of the immediacy of power. However the range was poor and I could never trust the accuracy. The driving position was also poor for me. I am now driving a Niro EV. The range and efficiency are so much better, I can trust the range to be accurate and the driving position is much better.

Seconded. I drove a 208e company car. And the range was wildly optimistic for motorway driving. Initially the dashboard said 200 miles range then after a just a few minutes the range would plummet by 10 miles. I reckon it lost 80 miles range in just 35 miles. Therefore I couldn’t trust the battery indicator to plan my journey and had range anxiety. I found the driving position so poor that the top of the steering wheel would obscure most of the dashboard display.

Dear Director, you don't need to begin *every shot* with a walk-in! Just cut between car and presenter; there's no need for stilted "continuity" sequences in this format. Otherwise, thanks for the video :)

This car is like a premium carry on suitcase, without handles or wheels, its not very practical. I do like that mobility plan they have for when you need to take a sensible journey, however you may get envious if youre practical minded to think "my gosh, wouldnt it be great if I could go 400 miles in my own car?"

Just keep polluting then.

@@davidperry7128 Where do you think the electricity to charge this car comes from? It is from coal, as most of the power is in Europe - it is WORSE than diesel. Only a few countries could pull off electric cars with clean energy - places like Brazil where almost 90% of electricity comes from perfectly clean hydroelectric power plants.

Even if it was coal an electric power train is 3x more efficient than an internal combustion one. And a lot of UK grid electricity comes from solar and wind.
@mindfreeze083810 ай бұрын
@@paulmitchell-gears6765 sure the motor is efficient but what good is that when your car has to weigh 2 tonnes just to go 300km?

@@andresamartins26 as I write this, the UK is generating 91.4% of its electricity from renewables or low carbon. 58.8% is renewable. Only 8.6% is from fossil fuels. With grid level storage all the excess solar maybe getting stored and using at night. If you have panels at home you can bet there are spilling over with generated power, and folks with EVs are getting charged with 100% solar power. Which is nice.

What's not to like ? Answer; it's electric.

Your review would be far more impressive if you hadn't lifted the script from OSV's KZbin video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fqaVmqBtjbqkkMU). Compare this video from 2.05 with OSV's from 10.00....
