Having test driven a GT Premium today I'd completely disagree with your assessment of the interior. I personally love it and the performance and handling was agile and sporty. While not perfect as based on a modified ICE chassis, it's still very good.

Same here, the interior in the GT is absolutely epic. This car in overall is better than the Tesla model 3. Absolutely unit of a car for the price.

Peugeot just increased the range of the e-208 to 225 miles. In Denmark where I live you can get the e-208 for £26400 while the ID-3 for £38800. The difference of £12400 for me is quite a lot. At the moment I'm leaning towards buying a e-208 or the Opel corsa-e.

That's a massive difference, wow! At the time of the review, the ID.3 was pretty much the same price as the e-208.

I can not understand why you repeatedly compare this car to the VW ID 3, which costs £8000 more. Who goes out to buy a car with that kind of price range in mind?
@TotallyEV2 жыл бұрын
As per our written review, at the time of filming: "The e-208 starts from £27,225" [...] "the well-rounded VW ID.3 from £30,935" Thus, at the time, £3,710; hope that clears things up.

Do not understand why the carmakers are making SUVs or CSUVs insead of smaller lighter vehicles. Peugeot has listen to what the customers want or rather do not want. They do not want bizzare looking cars with elevated body like they were pumped up with the air pump that are heavy and unefficient. 208e is what it should be, they need to work on the price and not rely on federal grants to sell it. The value for this car is around 15k dollars. There are much less parts compared to an ICE and the higher prices cannot be justified unless they are looking to make up for the losses in the past years. Customer would not bare the costs even indirectly by federal grants.

All these new cars come with a centre arm which is a pain in the backside because it makes it difficult to plug in the seatbelt. I would much prefer if they didn’t bother with that part of the Centre in these cars.

What about the cooling system of this particular model? I mean, what kind of cooling system it has on its battery? Especially from a tropical country it can get quite hot and I believe the battery would compensate its range for such thing. And also, does the battery degrade faster in hot weather condition? Thanks.

If electric cars are to flourish then the range needs to be greater and the price lower. The Zoe is making more progress but doesn't feel as premium inside to my eyes. I'd like to see models with fewer toys and put the money into better range.

I never understand why car journalists moan about the lack of leg or head room in a small car. Firstly it's a small car. Secondly. As an adult, when was the last time you had to sit in the back of a car. Literally, hardly ever unless it's in a taxi.
