I’m lucky enough to have owned two RCZ’s, a 156bhp GT and an 267bhp R which in my opinion is still one of the most beautiful cars on the road today. It’s fun to drive, returns over 50 mph on a run and is cheap to insure. In all a brilliant, affordable car to own and possibly a future classic …. well done Peugeot ……

The RCZ-R is the one to go for. It has 267bhp. It's fast, gorgeous and rare. Phenomenal Alcon brakes.

Narr common sense says buy a low millage 200 GT for a quarter of the price then either stage it or custom remap to your own personal choice & save yourself 10/12k in the process 😊

Good car for an enthusiast, you really need to do your own basic servicing and basic repairs (oil ,plugs, coils, thermostat, water pump, turbo cooling pump, oilcooler seals and all the coolant pipes) the stretched chain, and high pressure fuel pump better left to mechanics. If you are fine with all these problems, this is a car for you, looks great, handles amazingly (don't know any better) parts are cheap, getting to some unbelievably hard.

As mentioned above, the production ended in 2015. And even how many times it is spoken in the video, the R does have 270 HP, NOT 260... Pls do a real research, because otherwise, it is a informative clip about the RCZ.

Save money on tax and Smiles per MPG get a HDI. Avoid BMW THP motors, cam chains BMW are rubbish. HDI motors can be mapped to 200 BHP

They are hand built in Austria at the same factory they assemble very high end cars. My THP200 is nearly 10 years old has has not a single rattle or squeek. Agreed that engines can be a bit fragile, but so can many other makes due to the modern propensity to use plastic components......!@@tonyn3227

Great styling inside and out, problematic engines and Ludicrously hard ride, particularly from back - never stops surprising u just how violent the thumps over potholes can be.. Would consider smaller wheels with more sensible profiled, narrower tyres - Tyre specs are more fashion than purpose - more aggressive than my Griffith!!

Peugeot has gone from bad to nearly great!! They built some good cars, some bad and some mediocre!! But now they’re part of Stelantis, they’re not at all bad!!

Practical? My Zoe would take more in the boot!! So it’s not what I call a practical car!! My car has to carry my electric bike and garden equipment that I don’t want my cleaning lady to find!!
@CoeurDeLion81 Жыл бұрын
I think the presenter is meaning that the car is practical for the type of sector it's in (i.e Coupe). For a stylish coupe it is quite practical. The boot is very sizeable indeed (a friend has one and we can fit both mine and his Ice Hockey kit bag in there). There is plenty of room up front for driver and passenger and although typically the rear seats are only suitable for small children there is slightly more room than there is in the rear of say the likes of the TT for example. All in all, a bit of a silly comment you made if I may be so bold, then again, a Zoe and "electric bike" says it all 😂 Laughable stuff.

@CoeurDeLion81 Жыл бұрын
@@davidfoster3814 Generally of course it's not a practical car but for it's small sector of the car industry it is when considering boot and the attempt at rear seats (albeit only for small children). It's not an out an out sports car no, same as the likes of say an Audi TT is not and many other "Coupe's" It is deliciously stylish (yes eye of the beholder etc I know) and does drive rather well with adequate "real life" performance I would say. I have not driven the "R" model but do own the 200THP (GT spec) and find it nicely planted in the corners, is a trifle firm but not at a level that will result in you having to take painkillers for a painful back. I have not driven the 156 model so cannot compare the difference in terms of power, extra bracing , different brakes that mine has compared to that variant.

Your ZOE definitely DOESN’T have more boot space. I doubt anyone looking to buy an RCZ or similar is giving a toss about load capacity anyway. Id have bought a van if I needed to cart stuff around
