Hey I was wondering if you could do a offense breakdown of Bryce Andonian's Offense or something of the sort. Thanks for all the videos you make as well I'm a wrestler in Highschool and I practice lots of the techniques and breakdowns you show with my dad!

We call this the Granby counter, for the lack of a better name, because the counter is almost like a Granby roll. Also, we coach to attack a half-nelson to finish the move. It's there more times than not.

I was thinking the same thing. Granbying the side with no legs dumping him to his head and coming out for a half

2:34 I think maybe that Robb has Cardenas's left wrist with his left hand, you see him still with it when he rolls through

Good explanation. Good diagramatics on the videos. No wasted time on lead-in.

Making sure you kick your legs out (not up) is vital to this move (kick the wall, not the ceiling)

Hello, was wondering, do u have a snapdown video in the making ? I am looking to improve my snapdowns, and am currently finding limited success with them while doing bjj.
@patrickmorgan4006Ай бұрын
I learned this from a teammate 48 years ago and have been doing it and teaching it ever since. If Robb got more hip elevation it would work even better for him.

I went to a camp in high school and they called this move the kamikaze. It always worked. Nice move.

The key on the cross-body ride to not get superman rolled is not to lock in the foot. When the foot is not in it didn't work then the guy sunk his foot into Robbs ankle. Never do that until you secured a wrist or ankle going for a tilt.

You should do a breakdown of Masanosuke Onos snap single from worlds

how?

No, you're missing out on what he's doing! When he rolls, he straightens his leg to unhook it, hoping the guy on top doesn't keep his leg locked. And if the guy on top isn't prepared, Peyton rolls quickly because he is now freed from the guy's leg lock/ride.
@stango141Ай бұрын
Yea the key in why this work is because of the leg hook. If you don't hook the leg the superman roll doesn't work well. I would wait for the superman roll and you could usually catch a ball and chain when they try to roll.

I've never been a good leg rider, but it looks to me like the leg rider should be able to do a guillotine if you roll that direction. Isnt the bottom guy rolling in the same direction the leg rider would pull him to slip in a guillotine? obviously the roll is working on high level guys that know how to do a guillotine, but I just dont understand why a guillotine doesn't counter this roll. I think there's something I'm missing. From what I can see all the leg rider has to do is keep the arm and figure 4 the leg and he has a guillotine pin for free. Clearly I'm wrong about that or one of these guys would have done it, but can anyone explain WHY I'm wrong? I'd like to know.

Only issue with that is… they need to be attacking the leg. In that case… you wouldn’t roll. All the videos he showcased the opponent on top was riding cross body attack the far arm. In which case your leg is free to KICK OUT and roll. 4:33 if you FULLY watched the video, this is a perfect example right here. It’ll at least cause a scramble, if not an escape, or reversal.
@xzjayz79252 ай бұрын
It’s as he explains in the video. He’s tucking his shoulder, creating a motion that the opponent themselves isn’t dictating. He’s also kicking his legs and flipping his hips over. He’s rolling but he’s STILL moving. The movement doesn’t stop when he escapes or gets a reversal. However, when he doesn’t move he stays on bottom, or gets into a scramble. However, he doesn’t get out on his back.
