I have actually done the VOR approach circle to land on runway 20 during a type rating check ride in a shorts 360. I passed BTW. Here is a suggestion I learned as a CFII for Professional Instrument Courses: setup a placard that shows Power ant attitude for six configurations. The six are Climb, Cruise, cruise descent, Approach, approach descent and non-precision descent. Across the top list Manifold press. PRM, pitch attitude, Airspeed, VSI, Gear/flaps. With this information all you have to do for any configuration is set the proper power setting and maintain altitude with pitch until you reach the desired airspeed or descent. The most precise method to maintain airspeed is to control attitude with pitch and control airspeed with power. If power is fixed control airspeed/altitude with pitch. I can construct a form to fill out and use as a placard and send it to you if you want. Another great video, keep up the good work. You are a big help to a lot of pilots.

Perfect timing as I am working on my instrument rating. The Carenado M20R Ovation is such a beautiful plane and with a 750/650 absolutely perfect!!

What a rude engine to be so loud, masking your beautiful voice in the first seconds! ;) Really interested in that series, as I've been struggling to refine my landing techniques lately. Cheers
