"merge with absolute supreme" CHAPTER 6 verse 8.7 of SAMA VEDA "Tat Tvam Asi" - means - you (immortal, immanent and conscious athma) are (already) that (immortal, conscious, omnipresent and transcendent Brahman) without which nothing can exist or nothing can be perceived in its current form or no duality cycles of nature can happen. Identification with thoughts and body is just an illusion created by lack of knowledge, wrong assumption that the body is the experiencer of 5 senses (instead of the immanent athma which is NOT the doer) and ego (false sense of I). “Not the doer” means the omnipresent conscious self or the athma can neither act nor react even though the experiencer of everything including humans and non humans (including both animate and inanimate). Only its intelligent energy is the doer. Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent experience - Through focus and meditation and in higher states of consciousness, the “all pervading” “all knowing” “all powerful” experience can be attained by anyone while still being alive because you (conscious and immanent athma) are (already) that (conscious, omnipresent and transcendent Brahman) and due to interdependence of athma/brahman and its intelligent energy. But in Abrahamic religions, only their transcendent god can be omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. It is the reason why there is no concept of god in Hindu tradition. It also means, the impassive experiencer (athma/brahman) of everything is just one but experience (inanimate and animate including humans) is multiple. So, there is nothing other than the nondual athma/brahman and its duality capable intelligent energy. They always exist together for the perpetual duality cycles of nature to happen.

Soul is the knowledge and cause of self. Soul can't leave and reenter. But soul can disappear and reappear.
@indianmilitary Жыл бұрын
I would refrain from using the word soul for non translatable Sanskrit word Athma. Soul is limited to just humans in Abrahamic religions and it is not considered conscious. Athma is beyond space and time or unaffected by it even though the impassive experiencer of all happenings in its conscious field. Sri Krishna says the following in Bhagavad Gita CHAPTER 13 VERSE 21 (The experiencer of the field) purushaha prakritistho hi bhungkte prakritijaangunaan | kaaranam gunasangosya sadasadyonijanmasu || 21 || Purusha, when seated in Prakriti, experiences the qualities born of Prakriti. Attachment to these qualities is the cause of his re-birth in good and evil wombs.

UNIVERSE AND TIME ARE MYTH AND EXISTS AS LONG As consciousness there in you and both disappears when consciousness collapses, as per the Quantum physics sir. A perfect sync to our vedhantha .
@indianmilitary Жыл бұрын
Universe and time are not an illusion. Wake state experience is as real as Turiya (samadhi) even though the experience is limited. Some advaitha vedanta followers wrongly interpret Maya as the illusion through which Brahman falsely appears as the universe. Maya is the "creative" intelligent energy of Brahman. Maya is absolutely real. So, is our material realm. In the same way, Mithya means temporary or relative existence. eg Tasks in your office may be temporary but it is not false. So, you have to finish them. As far as time is concerned, it is cyclical. It is perpetual just like how duality cycles of nature are perpetual from seasons to manifestation/concealment duality cycles of the universe.
@addalavenkataratnam5449 Жыл бұрын
@indianmilitary Let us not confuse by observing through sensory perceptions. The noble prize winners in Physics in 2022 got noble prizes by saying that the universe is a myth or illusion. The shankar's statement is that the Brahman is satya and jagat midya, which is similar to the noble prize winners' statement . We can't see energy, but the universe is filled with only energy only . Einestine's E=mc2 also says that matter is energy under certain conditions, and it is in matter form . Hindus believe even Brahma ,vishnu , and Eswer have originated from Aadhishakti ,i.e., energy . Energy is in different forms, and upanishads tell us that Aatman is all pervasive and Aatman is energy or individual consciousness parted away from the Supreme consciousness. Pl check Double split theory in which Atoms ,photons, or Electrons behave in one pattern under observation and behave differently when there was hidden observation. What we are seeing is not real, and we are being deceived by the Maya. The universe is made of atoms, and 99.9 atoms are empty, and if your consciousness raises to understand this universe, then you realize that it is a myth or illusion.,. Robert lanza says both universe and time are myth. The molecules or compounds are behaving to escape from your sensory perception in one particular pattern to suit your empirical study but behave differently when they are not under observation. It shows these atoms, too, have consciousness whether they are with jeevatma or with inanimate matter, but the scientific discoveries are in controlled condition. Time is totally a myth. Time is not what we are calculating by calculating the movement of the earth or sun or planets or stars or galaxies. Time is not constant or progressive, or universal. If you stand at black holes, time does not move or moves slowly. Our consciousness measures time , based on changes in our environment, but what we are perceiving today is today's time for us , but it might had happened one more consciousness in onother universe and it might has happened millions of years back as per our perception. Thus, both universe and time are myth.

Sorry. The word Shraddha (trust but verify with intense efforts to know the unknown without ahamkara) was replaced with the word Bhakti (blind devotion) in Bhagavad Gita by colonialists who wanted Hindu tradition to mimic blind faith Abrahamic religions by creating difference between athma and paramathma. Their motive was to control people through organized Bhakti cults just like how Christians are controlled by churches.

Sir with due respect to all viewers and listeners , I wish to clarify and submit following on the subject under talk : Sir, I am of the same view as told by PVR sir , but I wish to clarify further that in the lives of sadguru category saints produced in India since ancient times, they had the ability to move their Atma , without physical body movement , from one place to another and too in split seconds . Then their Atma used to return back in their body as per their wish. And , all this happened within their life time itself ( and not after death ) . So Atma leaving body and coming back to body was a way of living by sadguru category of saints. In fact, this was their channel of their night time frequent visit to observe their disciples activity whether they were following his teachings well ....................................Niw another dimension - I believe, our ancient time sadguru were almost like a God , extremely powerful , had all the spiritual powers to do any thing and everything but only rider with them was , their acts were ordered by almighty and was never self generated. Ordered means - उनको हुक्म होता था , किसी भी कार्य को अंजाम देने के लिए। It needs to be understood that these saints were never doing anything on their own because they were fully immersed in the devotion of their almighty. So, they used to seek concurrence for doing anything or they will be directly ordered by almighty because they had a hot line link with god in present day technical terms. Just imagine , as per god or even as lord Krishna has said in gita , every human being has to die one day. This means , it's god's will and can not be changed. And so, In my view, return of Atma of dead body to the same dead body ( if is a matter of discussion here ) is not possible . In fact Atma enters a different body , that too after some time which is again variable time period from person to person.

We should not say immanent athma transmigrates because it is also omnipresent (paramathma) and transcendent (Brahman) and it is beyond space and time. What happens during reincarnation is transmigration of subtle body to gross physical body in the conscious field of omnipresent paramathma just like other dualities of nature (wave/particle, energy/matter, freezing/melting, birth/decay etc) Remember, the impassive experiencer is just one (athma/paramathma/brahman) but experience of material realm is multiple. it also means, in every life (reincarnation) only the experience changes not the experiencer (athma). It is like saying the actor is the same but only his roles change in every movie (life) Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 12 (ATHMA = PARAMATHMA) “na tv evāhaṁ jātu nāsaṁ na tvaṁ neme janādhipāḥ na caiva na bhaviṣyāmaḥ sarve vayam ataḥ param” “Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings, and from this time forward, none of us will ever cease to be” Here, Sri Krishna refers to the conscious, immortal, immutable, self luminous, immanent (athma), transcendent and omnipresent paramathma as 'I", ''you ``,''us ``. Point is, Krishna was a mortal (like other avatars) even though an avatar (non karmic birth). He was killed by a stray arrow of a hunter (Vali's reincarnation) since avatar Rama was cursed by Vali's pious wife Thara for killing her husband by hiding behind a tree. You can ask the question, if the experiencer is the same (or athma = paramathma), how come I (the conscious and immanent athma) have limited experience of my thoughts and body, not others or anything else? Let us assume that the 10 fingers are the immanent and conscious athma and the whole body is the omnipresent Paramathma. If you expose your 10 fingers (immanent athma) to 10 different experiences (like hot, cold etc), the body (omnipresent Paramathma) experiences all the 10 different experiences even though the individual finger (immanent athma) experiences only what it is exposed to or bound by. So, in Turiya or samadhi or in higher states of conscious, the experience becomes cosmic.
@lalitanjanaaggarwal645 Жыл бұрын
Agreed sir. At 1st , I am deeply thankful to yr detailed response. I am in fact overwhelmed after reading. I am probably trying to write my views based on my spiritual association with my elders and gurudev and my readings of different saint history , whatever I hv picked up in my life or I hv understood ( right or wrong ) . I hv highest respects for all greatest saints that hv given direction of saintly living to millions in this country since ancient times. I am aware , I hv to take several जन्म to be close to such category of saints. This subject principally is beyond my range of thought process , I may say even as " छोटे मूंह बड़ी बात " । So , Pls do correct me if I am wrong anywhere. But I am anxious to know the subject . And so some expression of my thoughts are herewith. .............Sir , as I said earlier, atma can leave or enter back a body during his life time as per his wish but this is applicable to spiritually powered saints ( who may be called as next to god ) . Further, I do think , normally , atma enters a body for his next role ( as per god's design ) at a different location after some time ( time period depending on his past karma , higher the divine level of padt karma , higher is the time duration to re-enter ) as per god's design. - For extremely special and highest stage of spiritual power of esteemed saints in the category of say Jesus Christ and few more ( whose history we are aware partly or fully ) who were directed for reincarnation ( directed means here as desired by almighty ) , atma returning back to the same body is definitely possible as part of god's special design. After all , principally, almighty can do anything and everything , that we realize. But I do think , this should be applicable for extremely special world class category of saints who could move the world order , means , in the larger interest of world society. But dominantly in this world , I think , this may not happen because most people are no where near the spiritual divine submissions. Even , majority of sadgurudev , that I know historically, same was applicable like anybody. That is why , we see centuries old series of a guru shiksha system , having heir after heir of the established spiritual leaning or spiritual "सिलसिला" , in different parts of India even today. The spiritual power was being transferred from a sadgurudev to his next closest disciple and then again to 2nd next closest disciple and so on till date. और ये सिलसिला चलता रहता है। Thanks once again to you sir.

This is complex to comprehend not many explained well. Thx Iyer ji for venturing into Spiritual side talks and I hope you make it Scientific talks instead of blind beliefs 🙏🙏🙏

1. Prana is the invisible life force which is omnipresent within the energy realm. Prana is responsible for pulling in the conscious field of athma/paramathma (beyond space and time) for the manifestation of material realm (macrocosm). This is the main function of prana in addition to other functions when it comes to microcosm. Without the omnipresent prana, conscious field of omnipresent Brahman (or immanent athma) cannot enter the material realm which also means nothing can be perceived in its current form. 2. Athma is the conscious, immortal, immutable, self luminous, immanent, transcendent (Brahman) and omnipresent (paramathma) impassive experiencer of everything through its conscious field where all dualities of nature happen eg birth/decay (including reincarnation cycle), wave/particle, energy/matter, manifestation/concealment duality cycles of the universe, man/woman, summer/winter, freezing/melting etc. 3. Jiva is nothing but false identification with thoughts and body due to ignorance. It is NOT due to ignorance of immanent athma which is also beyond space and time like the omnipresent and transcendent Brahman. 3. Shukshma sharira - is the subtle body (Chitta - store house of all past karmic seeds + Buddhi + Ahamkara + Manas + 5 subtle bodies of 5 senses and 5 organs of locomotion etc) which transmigrates to another body when reincarnation happens. It also means, we should not say athma transmigrates because it is omnipresent (as paramathma), transcendent (as Brahman) and beyond space and time even though the impassive experiencer of everything through its conscious field 4. Sthula sharira is the gross physical body which goes through birth/decay duality cycle (mediated by the conscious field of immanent ATHMA) 5. Karana sharira (which is also called Karana chitta mentioned above as part of sukshma sharira), It carries vasanas or seed karma of all past lives. 6. Astral body - Sukshma sharira is often wrongly translated as ‘astral body’, which predates Christianity and originated in ancient Greece. An astral body is regarded as a vehicle to clairvoyant sight and other occult powers. It lacks any rigorous intellectual foundation like the Veda-s and its relationship with reincarnation is non-existent. The astral body is composed of finer matter and is said to be surrounded by an aura of flashing colors. It is a medium of transmission between the brain and mind and is able to move rapidly to great distances, making a person capable of cosmic travel. The translation of sukshma sharira into ‘astral body’ eliminates the concept of transmigration and stored impressions from past lives. While all living beings have sukshma sharira, astral body is limited only to humans.

@@indianmilitary Thank you Sir for good long explanation🙏and in your explanation also I am not happy on Jivatma explanation(as you didn't talk on Karma and reincarnations; everyone knows Atma will not cary/feel anything). Prana, Atma & Paramatma, everyone can tell very easily. Whereas the difference between Atma and Jivatma is not explained well by many and to be more specific about Jivatma, many are not clear and in doldrums of explanations. For now I talk on Jivatma per my understanding and the rest I wait for @PVR or others to talk. I referred few books like Viveka Choodamani and last night read Atma Bodha also for proper details. Jeevatma(Jeeva/Physical + Atma/untouchable universal energy) is the individual soul or consciousness(Atman encapsulated in Body and mind frame), which is a manifestation of Atma on a personal level(physical body level - the spark of Atma that is present in each living being). It is the part of us that is awareness that experiences the world, and that seeks liberation(atma reach paramatma). It is the individualized expression of Atma, representing the unique identity and experiences of a living being. Jeevatma is associated with the cycle of birth and death, reincarnation, and the accumulation of karma and karma phalas. It is considered as an eternal entity that undergoes various incarnations until it achieves liberation or Moksha and once salavation is achieved, it is called aatma which is nothing but universal Paramatma.

No, but Adi Shankaracharya during a debate had left his body and entered a dead king's body. Secondly, Swami Vivekananda in Rajyog mentions that this is possible if one practices Patanjali Rajyog systematically. What about these two examples or s?

Expansion of consciousness through Kriya yoga leads to shift from individual madhyama (sound) and pashyanthi (vision) experience to cosmic madhyama and pashyanthi experience. We also should not say athma (since it is also omnipresent and tanscendent) transmigrates during reincarnation. Only Sukshma sharira transmigrates in the conscious field of athma to another gross body

In advaitic philosophy the Atma is same as Paramaatma and so it is considered to be all pervasive. But according to the vedic statements atma is a separate identity than the Paramaatma and similarly the prakriti is another separate entity but both Atma and Prakriti exist as appendices of Paramaatma and cannot exist without the connection with Paramaatma.

Some of the important verses in Bhagavad Gita by Sri Krishna clearly says that there is absolutely no difference between athma and paramathma `1. Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 12 (ATHMA = PARAMATHMA) “na tv evāhaṁ jātu nāsaṁ na tvaṁ neme janādhipāḥ na caiva na bhaviṣyāmaḥ sarve vayam ataḥ param” “Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings, and from this time forward, none of us will ever cease to be” Here, Sri Krishna refers to the conscious, immortal, immutable, self luminous, immanent (athma), transcendent and omnipresent paramathma as 'I", ''you ``,''us ` 2. CHAPTER 13 VERSE 21 (The experiencer of the field) purushaha prakritistho hi bhungkte prakritijaangunaan | kaaranam gunasangosya sadasadyonijanmasu || 21 || Purusha, when seated in Prakriti, experiences the qualities born of Prakriti. Attachment to these qualities is the cause of his re-birth in good and evil wombs. You can ask the question, if the experiencer is the same (or athma = paramathma), how come I (the omnipresent and conscious athma) have limited experience of my thoughts and body, not others or anything else? Let us assume that the 10 fingers are the immanent and conscious athma and the whole body is the omnipresent Paramathma. If you expose your 10 fingers (immanent athma) to 10 different experiences (like hot, cold etc), the body (omnipresent Paramathma) experiences all the 10 different experiences even though the individual finger (immanent athma) experiences only what it is exposed to or bound by. So, in Turiya or samadhi or in higher states of conscious, the experience becomes cosmic. We should not say immanent athma transmigrates because it is also omnipresent (paramathma) and transcendent (Brahman) and it is beyond space and time. What happens during reincarnation is transmigration of subtle body to gross physical body in the conscious field of omnipresent paramathma jus like other dualities of nature (wave/particle, energy/matter, freezing/melting, birth/decay etc) Remember, the impassive experiencer is just one (athma/paramathma/brahman) but experience of material realm is multiple. it also means, in every life (reincarnation) only the experience changes not the experiencer (athma). It is like saying the actor is the same but only his roles change in every movie (life) 3. CHAPTER 5 VERSE 8 (ATHMA IS NOT THE DOER) naiva kiṁ cit karomīti yukto manyeta tattvavit paśyañ śṛṇvan spṛśañ jighrann aśnan gacchan svapañ śvasan While seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, eating, walking, sleeping, and breathing, one who knows these yogic truths, their manas steady in yoga, says, “I am not the doer of these actions.” 4. Chapter 14 verse 10 ( 3 gunas compete to control the matter) rajas tamaś cābhibhūya sattvaṁ bhavati bhārata rajaḥ sattvaṁ tamaś caiva tamaḥ sattvaṁ rajas tathā O Arjuna, from moment to moment, these three gunas are competing to control matter. Sometimes sattva suppresses rajas and tamas; sometimes rajas controls sattva and tamas; and at other times, tamas overwhelms both rajas and sattva.

Thanks Mr.Rao. As I understand that it’s Ocean of chetna( divine active force) which is in and out of each creatures. But yet it is a dilemma that how Jiv/creature within that chetna ocean become lifeless? I read many scriptures of spiritual great masters, contacted Sanyasis and yogis but it seems that what they is within their own perceptions. It is not multi angle at 360* level. Even if it’s so, such person can’t transfer his experience as initiation. Yet it is not clear who trekked that Jiv leaving body dead? Which element is motivated or activates five elements and five tanmatras means-Shabd-Sparsh-Roop-Ras and Smell. How this is being activated in physical bodi’s biological systems? Kabir said Jiv-Atma-Paramatma are different names but there’s no compartment in between. Some sanyasi says “ Shiva himself become Jiv. Jiv ultimately melt or mixed in Shiv after certain recycling process. Punarapi Janamam, Punarapi Maranam”. This might have described as recycling in ocean of chetna. Yet I couldn’t understand anything in this occult almighty.🕉️🕉️🕉️

Good logical questions. 1. Jiva simply means false identification with thoughts and body due to ignorance and illusion created by Maya shakthi (ahamkara, 5 senses). During reincarnation, we should not say athma transmigrates. We should instead say Sukshma sharira transmigrates (subtle body) in the conscious field of immanent (athma) omnipresent (paramathma) and transcendent (Brahman) which exists beyond space and time or unaffected by space and time. It also means, all dualities of nature happen in the conscious field of athma/paramathma/brahman. eg Birth/decay (including human reincarnation cycle), wave/particle, energy/matter, man/woman, summer/winter, freezing/melting, manifestation/concealment of the universe etc 2. How creature within that chetna ocean become lifeless? Conscious field mediates all dualities of nature. eg Birth/death. Decomposition of a dead body is also because of the conscious field of the immanent athma. 3. "initiation" It will act as a catalyst. We have to put our efforts. But some gurus who are advanced practitioners can provide us with the cosmic experience or samadhi by a simple touch. 4. Which element is motivated or activates five elements and five tanmatras means-Shabd-Sparsh-Roop-Ras and Smell. How this is being activated in physical bodi’s biological systems? ' The Sankhya-Yoga system divides all knowable phenomena into 25 Tattvas. 25. Purusha - the sentient being (consciousness), the experiencer 24. Prakriti - primal nature (root of all insentient matter) Antahkaranas - internal organs 23. Mahat-Buddhi - intelligence 22. Ahamkara - objective ego 21. Manas - mind Jnanendriyas Sense-organs, for receiving the bhutas and the tanmatras, viz 20 karna (the auditory sense) 19 tvak (the thermal sense) 18 chaksu (the visual sense) 17 rasana (the gustatory sense) 16 nasa (the olfactory sense) Karmaendriyas organs of action, viz. 15 vak (vocal organ) 14 pani (manual organ) 13 pada (organ of locomotion) 12 payu (excretory organ) 11 upastha (genital organ) Tanmatras - subtle elements 10. Shabda - sound 9. Sparsha - feel 8. Rupa - form 7. Rasa - taste 6. Gandha - smell Mahabhutas - gross elements 5. Akasha - space 4. Vayu - air 3. Tejas - fire 2. Ap - water 1. Prithivi - earth Akasha - ears, Vayu - Skin, Jala (water) - Taste, Earth - Nose. All these are activated by the subtle bodies of 5 senses which are part of Sukshma sharira. It is just like how a software works.

Athma is situated in the region of the heart and pervaded all over the body in form of consciousness.
@indianmilitary Жыл бұрын
Yes. But it does not mean Athma transmigrates during reincarnation. Only Sukshma sharira transmigrates in the conscious field of athma/paramathma/brahman which exists beyond space and time. Without the immanent athma and its conscious field nothing can exist or nothing can be perceived in its current form or no duality cycles of nature can happen including decomposition of human body when buried. It is also the reason why athma is present in trees, plants, insects, rocks and everything or omnipresent

@@indianmilitary Athma is the moving force of inanimate elements. There is no life without atma. It transmigrates from body to body indifferent species including birds bees animals and even worms. It takes on different bodies according to its acquired karma in the cycle of birth and death. The origin and final destination of the atma is mentioned in the bhagat Gita .
