Yes, if you are working in healthcare and going to work in healthcare for your work permit and you haven't done medical tests in the last 12 months, then you need to do it.

I graduated with a diploma in Developmental Services Worker. Do I need to say yes if I am working in the medical field thing? If yes, do I need to get a new medical? Generally the answer to my question is yes, however, there is a temporary public policy posted by IRCC said, "In-Canada applicants We’ve put in place a temporary public policy for immigration medical exams (IMEs) until October 6, 2024. If you completed an IME within 5 years of submitting your new application, include the IME number (or the unique medical identifier number) from your previous exam in your current application. You may be exempt from completing another IME if you meet all of these conditions: You applied, or are applying, for either permanent residence or temporary residence. You already live in Canada. You completed your previous IME in the last 5 years. Your previous IME indicated a low risk or no risk to public health or public safety."

Hello, I had some queries, as my 8 months (1 yr course) of study finishes in April and I apply for pgwp right away till when my pgwp will be valid for ...is it 8 months or 1 yr? I'm still waiting for my nursing license and then i will apply for jobs. I have done 1 yr of course in Canada so I'm only getting this PGWP. I don't know if I will have enough time to complete 1 yr of Canadian experience and will I eligible for PR before my PGWP expires? Thank you so much in advance.

Hello, you will get one year of work permit, If you have passed the exam and are ready for a license, then you can try OINP. They don't need experience and just need full-time job offer and letter from your employer. If you are RN. I hope you get your license and job as soon as possible so that you can apply for OINP.

@beenarautan6915 hello, np.. you need to go to a nearby clinic. Ask them for 2 step TB test and immunization test. You also need a cpr and first aid certificate. For that, you need to make an account in the canadian Red Cross and book an appointment for nearby cpr & first aid class. The charge is around 110$. And you have to finish the online part before in person class. I hope it helps..

Hello, you can start NNAS process. Apply for RN and RPN both. After GNM and experience you will be eligible for RPN. But for RN you need to apply to USA nursing and give exam and transfer your license.
