Leah you are amazing. Have you tried the pH math trick shortcut: If [H+] is (N x 10^-M) -> pH = (M - 1) . (10 - N). It is great and super fast!

Subbed! So when you got use use mols straight into the ph=-log equation that is only with strong acids right? Otherwise we execute the Mi x^2 equation

Yes. Since strong acids experience complete dissociation of their protons in solution, you can directly substitute the concentration of any monoprotic acid into the pH equation. For weak acids, since there is incomplete dissociation, the process I show in this video must be followed.

Yes, unless THAT is what the question asks you to calculate.
