Phantom 3 Flight Over the NJ Pine Barrens

A late afternoon flight over one of my favorite spots in NJ - The Pine Barrens. This is one of the largest expanses of natural woodlands in the state and supports a huge underground aquifer with some of the purest water in the country.

+Gary Clark The Pine Barrens have always been a bit of a magical place for me. We used to drive through them on the way to LBI in the summers and I loved the stories of the "Jersey Devil" as a kid. No doubt in my mind there's at least one Werewolf roaming those woods. It's a perfect location and where I would go if I was one.

impressive....you really get a feel for the size of the area. was that filmed with some type of drone?

Thanks for stopping by. I filmed this with my Phantom 3 drone to be able to get these great shots. I used to live in the area and the Pine Barrens always fascinated me as a kid. I have another clip I'm working on that I shot at Apple Pie Hill, which is one of the highest spots in the Barrens and is the site of a fire lookout tower so be sure to sub me and stop back next week for that one.
