Making a bad character doesn't mean they can't be well rounded. Doesn't mean i agree with every character on this list but good writing creates sympathy for the villain. İt also makes their cruelty have more of an impact. Bojack does this excellently in the episode where we see the horrors Bojack mother had to endure as a child. İt doesn't make what she did okay but we get a good look at what made her such a monster.

He started out slightly mischievous but still a nice guy in pilot, became a lot more self-centered in season 1 but was still at worst a likable jerk/jerk with a heart of gold who often meant well and saw the error of his ways. Season 2 he could also be described as that too, even though he had more episodes that showed him as just plain mean and selfish. It was season 3 onwards where he was just a massive prick

Scrappy Doo himself is not a bad character. The problem with Scrappy was the fact that they tried to make him the main character of the show, when he was just meant to be a side character. Scrappy actually saved the show from dying, as him being a new reoccurring character pulled viewers back in. It was just poor execution.

I hated Dee Dee from Dexter's Laboratory. Never before had I felt so much hatred for a character I was supposed to like. Dee Dee was presented as innocent and carefree, but the way she constantly ruined Dexter's life without the tiniest bit of remorse when he never did anything to her made her come across as a cruel psychopath who reveled in Dexter's misery. Before the Squidward torture porn, there was the Dexter torture porn. Dee Dee was so awful, she drove me away from what was otherwise a very clever and funny show.

Some thoughts for your choices: 1. John Kricfalusi, a/k/a John K. , a Canadian animator, created Ren Hoek, and he's just as bad in real life as Ren is. He was accused of grooming two underaged female animators in 2018. I used to admire him as a brilliant animator, but now I think he's a creep. 2. Star Butterfly could be put on a future list, as it turns out in the final episode of her series (titled "Cleaved") she's committed genocide against a whole army of magical creatures just so she could be with Marco forever. She even broke up Marco from his first true love, Jackie Lynn Thomas. 3. As for Steven Universe, Jasper & the Diamonds could be considered unsympathetic. Jasper is a creature of pure war & cruelty who took a very long time to be tamed. It wasn't enough for just Garnet to defeat her, it took a final showdown with Steven to do that in the 20-episode epilogue "Steven Universe Future." Even Steven was going through a unsympathetic phase (some would call it teen aged angst or puberty) in that 20 episode series, becoming a huge pink monster who could barely control his teenaged rage. 4. 'Arthur" was cancelled last year, finally. It took an episode of pro-gay rights concept of Mr. Ratburn getting married to another male that sent shock waves through bigoted right-wingers and then a pro-Black Lives Matter episode that came after that before the ax finally fell after 21years on the air. 5. As far as I remember , I recall seeing Scrappy Doo on ABC's TV line-up of Saturday morning cartoons back in 1979, and don't personally remember anything particularly annoying about him; he was just another addition to the cast that actually saved the show's failing ratings. The hatred for Scrappy really began with the live action movie in 2000.

Brian and Peter a the worse for me because, in the early seasons they were actually likable. Peter was a Homer Simpson esque likable idiot. In the defense of Mr. Krabs, even though he's always been greedy, he has shown his kind-hearted moments. He sent home Spongebob to recover without a second thought after he realized Spongebob had the Suds, and he couldn't fire his own daughter from the Krusty Krab. Sure, he considered firing her because he was losing money, but even the greed in his heart couldn't make him fire his own daughter. He even passed out after Spongebob fired her. As most fans would say, I blame Season 4 onward.

Luckily even though both siblings messed up in the beginning, they both said their apologies in the end so the episode "Arthur big hit" isn't so infamous at least in the ending and lets not forget that binky in the end defounded the Tough customers way of violence.

And john has stated in interviews that he had an undiagnosed mental illness for years without being checked or cured. Worse yet, he tried to solve his problems with alcohol, which brought his behavior into deeper turmoil. In case you're wondering, John did have an abusive dad (Michael Kricfalusi, Sr.) and did not approve of his son wanting to go into the cartoon and animation business. The ridiculous plot of "Cans Without Labels" was a true story, since it's about Mike Sr. pulling labels off of canned goods after they were bought at the supermarket, then served to young John as "surprise meals."

Bloo is a great character to me as well as many and most fosters fans sure he may have his flaws but he is really not as bad as people make him out to be as he does value his friends especially mac and is capable of knowing when hes gone too far plus every character on the show has their flaws as well. Eduardo is whiny Mac can be too serious and a know it all Frankie has a hot temper Herriman is bossy Madame foster and coco are just as hyperactive as bloo And even wilt has shown some flaws(such as ruining the beach trip in squeeze the day).

What about Vicky from the Fairly Oddparents? The reason why I hate her is because she makes poor Timmy suffer. She basically sets off a theme of child abuse. Timmy doesn’t deserve this torture. She should’ve been in jail after many years of her neglecting and abusing Timmy.
