@@ethanshackleton Which is weird, because if all he did was to delete stuff, then it should fill up immediately. To keep this dry, he would need to constantly delete any water that flows into the radius, meaning that he would have to reduce the amount of water in this world quite significantly.

He did not exactly delete it. His power is partially connected to chemistry knowledge. As long as he knows the process, he can trigger a chemical reaction using magic. If memory serves me right he just moved from fluid state, to gas and then dissolved the gas. So after he releases the water will naturally fill up the area.
