Hi. First of all, I would like to thank you for the incredible job that your doing with the classes. It's so far the best pharmacology videos and the best dynamic to the explanation. I'm a pharmacist, in the process of validation of my professional permission abroad. In order to achieve this goal, I have to succeed in a tough exam, which I'm have very difficult with the calculations of clearance, bioavailability and all the calculations regarding the pharmacokinetics. So then I would like to suggest if can do a video class with the specific explanation to this topic, and real cases of calculations? Thank you so much for your videos, and please keep doing this excellent job.

The y-axis of EC50 for Drug B at 8:26 is wrong... It is not the same as the 50% of max effect of Drug A since they have different max effects...

Hey, I think there is a small mistake at 8:10: The drugs have equal potency because drug B has a lower pharmacological effect compared to drug A. So they have the same EC50 and thus are even potent right? Or am I missing something? Other than that, awesome video man! we literally have to watch this for our introduction program to pharmacology at university.

@flowerpetal61935 жыл бұрын
Good question. I had a similar query, as drug A and drug B in the graph had different maximum responses ( A-max was marked at 100%, B-max was more like 70% of that; so how can the EC50 be compared?
