People have no idea how huge Pharoahe is....this is a God Emcee speaking in another God Emcee. That’s time stopping.

It's crazy to think that Monche has been doing this for 30 plus years now. And you can go back and listen to Hypnotical Gases or Bring It On and lyrically it kills anything out right now. And he's still making incredible music at a high level right now. God level MC, no question.

That question was on point about have you ever worked together and his response where he said that hit me like Damn we never worked together! That goes beyond just a missed opportunity, knowing that opportunity was always there and then suddenly it's not! Wakes you up to the point that you need to realize reach out and make things happen each and every day as tomorrow is not promised! I could only imagine the crazy albums they would have done together and knowing that will never happen from here on out, put so much more pain into the loss of what could have been

Within the first 14 seconds of this interview, bredren just said what I had in my mind when i heard about DOOM's passing. Pharoahe was my go to emcee before Dumile crept out of the shadows and Dilla and Madlib starting mashing up the airwaves with their sonics.

My all time favourite living MC giving it up to my all time favourite GOAT dead or alive.Man a collaboration album between ‘Monch & MF DOOM would have been the last record I would ever have had to buy to die contented. Two of the greatest MCs & both nice AF with their production, what a missed opportunity that I nvr even thought about till watching this.Damn now I’m missing the fk out of an album that was never even meant to be lol, unlike the DOOM/STARKS album,I wonder if Ghost or some label are sitting with that album maybe unfinished but I remember DOOM saying they had around 8 or 9 tracks for the album done & that was years back in like 2012..where are they joints at🤷🏽♂️😔

Yeah man, all of this! Imagine being at that table in Paris whilst Monch and DOOM chopped it up 😱 I bet that DOOM x Starks project comes out now, probably others too - the Super Villain was prolific to say the least!

The thing that hurts the most when you lose great artists like Doom, as well as any of our past greats... is wondering will they have previously created work released, while knowing each album is put together from a vast selection of tracks done, and to think of how much more greatness they had to offer the world in the future which will never be seen makes you wish and hope that they have their entire catalog of unreleased or unfinished works released for all to appreciate rather than set on the Shelf or in a vault or on a hard drive forever, never being gifted to the world! This is why I love when artist full release previously unreleased tracks sort of like Nas has with the Lost Tapes! Simply knowing there is so much great music that never makes the final cut for the album, makes you realize and know, Doom and other artists we lost has a catalog of works, some of which we may hear and some we may never hear, which makes the loss of such a great artist and human being that much deeper

Man, I feel this - especially after DOOM. We have the music for real, but also the lessons - peeps like Sean P, DOOM, Monch have all shown being true to yourself and your truth can result in incredible art. And we're here for all of it. Thank you for sharing your love, always appreciated 🙌

@@crate808 wow....and you mentioned Sean Price!... when I got the news of his passing it touched me a different way! Much deeper as if I knew him personally for some odd reason!...as if he was family....coming up on bootcamp...Rock and Ruck was that dynamic duo...he could and would drop bars with anyone.... he is amongst my top 5 favorite artist! There was a great sadness at the moment I learned of his passing as well as every time I see something come out from boot camp or bootcamp affiliates, knowing that damn...Sean P should be on this joint tearing it down and unless they take tracks previously recorded and unreleased to add him to the mix... you will never be blessed with those Barbarian bars again!....as i said before...just found your podcast with Black Thought...I am an instant fan!
