Just a pointer on the insurance photos you get money for those on Amature and Intermediate, Professional you do not get money from those pictures so don't waste the film trying!

Are you sure? playing with my friends and taking photos of their bodies, they usually report getting around 20$ in insurance on professional. it's not much, but it is something.

In one of the house missions (the one with the tv room to the left of the front door), there is a trash can outside the front door that’s counts as a dead body when you take a picture of it.

any tips for timing pictures of the ghost as it hunts?

if youre in its room, wait for the gurgling noise, then take a picture real quick, and _run_ sometimes it manifests in the ghost room, but does not hunt, so you are safe. thats how I do it. you can also lure it to the front door on smaller maps by standing in the door way and yelling its name and even swearing to trigger it. that also works.

not gonna lie... I'm level 30 and i'v tried to get a photo of footprints every single time it lets me... probably a good 60 photos attempted. And never once have I seen it actually count.

it doesn't footprints doesn't count, only use is to keep a semblance of tracking ghosts or also as a high risk/reward tactic against wraiths, they WILL stop their current hunt if they step on salt during hunt phases (but will also PISS IT OFF big time, leading to more frequent hunts) cameras are finicky, useful when you NEED the money

What counts as an event for taking pictures of? Phones ringing? Radios turned on? Objects thrown/knocked over? Doors opening/shutting?

not things that are moving or making sound. the ones that _do_ count are: VooDoo dolls Bloody axes and weapons one can find Bones the Lit up ouija board fingerprints dirty water and ofcourse the ghost thats all I can think off from memory on what counts as an "interaction" type picture. these also give money

how to use it? grab lighter, then smudge stick, hold smudge stick and press [F] by default. now walk around the ghost room. if the ghost was 6 meters away from you as you held the smudge stick, it will stop it from hunting for 90 seconds. and it can stop an active hunt I believe aswell, for 6 seconds. using it on a Spirit will prevent it from attacking and using it on a Yurei will prevent it from moving. I usually find the room, then use a smudge stick and ask for clues. this way, because of the smudge stick, you are slightly safer from hunts when asking the ghost questions or looking for clues.
