Wallace is a blokey-bloke who let success and fame go to his head. He felt he could do no wrong, and the BBC cultivated him. He thought he was funny so expected other people to laugh. He wanted to brag about everything - his wife, his 'celebrity life', the lot. There is no way he didn't know his behaviour would offend. He just didn't care. If he'd stuck at being a greengrocer, it might not've turned out this way. But it has. We await his claiming he'd been 'cancelled by a woke mob', become a close friend of Laurence Fox, then get a show on GB News. Anything apart from accepting the consequences as his own fault. And let's be perfectly clear here: being 'cancelled' isn't being destroyed, it doesn't mean you wont get employed. Being 'cancelled' means you should take a break from all social media until you learn some self-control and tact. Your life isn't cancelled - your popularity is. Get over it!

This seems like absolutely nonsense. The lack of proper management of the behaviour on shows on the BBC, i.e. the producer Clarkson clocked is ridiculous. I bet producers can also have bad behaviour. Basically vilifying q guy for being a bit of an asshooe is over the top.

hello, this woman who was interviewed and told the story how she was made uncomfortable by Gregg telling a story - well she made me extremely uncomfortable with her story, I reckon she should be dismissed, I can quit the web browser and stop listening to her, but imagine if there are people who work for her and can't!

The mention of autism clicked with me. I grew up with someone with autism (never formally diagnosed, as autism wasn't really a thing in those days) and they had zero filter on what they said, and would happily spout off some really inappropriate stuff in any situation. You were always on edge when going out anywhere with them in case they said something really embarrassing. So Gregg's behaviour sounds a bit like this, where he really doesn't know how to read a situation and what's appropriate.

Maybe your friend was an asshole who happened to be autistic? I know assholes who aren't autistic, crazy.

A bit of a knob, but he does have a point about "middle class women of a certain age" though. Privately-educated uppity classist oddballs like Kirsty Wark could not be more out of touch with common people and reality if they tried.

Amazing how many people go their entire career of interacting with people with ZERO complaints of sexual impropriety, Gregg. Playing a numbers game will only get you as far as your first complaint. Proportions don’t matter. As long as there’s one abused person, all the non-abused people don’t count.

Kirsty wark was saying she didn't even need the money. SO why didn't she tell him to shut up?

So other than one person who he denies and she has it, which seems to have evidence to back it up, he...told some jokes? god I remember when we weren't all such soft cunts.
