Being I was born in 91 and not really introduced to anything until I discovered my dads black album cassette in jr high, and that's where I began my journey...please, just describe the absolute power of pantera live for me. Did you see them while they were really sprouting to heavy shit during cfh or while phil was messed up on dope real bad? Either way how cool was it!? Props to Phil for putting his all into these performances at his age and physical condition - but he just sounds like he’s straining and struggling through them. I don’t know how people can say things like, “the kid is back!” or “he sounds like he’s in his prime again!” Whether you love Phil or not, it’s pretty obvious that if you’ve ever seen/heard him perform in his prime, this is nowhere close to it as he can barely get through the song physically, let alone vocally.
