Everyone always talks about the drum fill in this song, but let’s be honest, as powerful and well timed it is, it’s a very simple fill. I ALWAYS preach for people to listen to this song and appreciate Phil’s voice, how it builds up and at the end he just unleashes all the pent up emotion, and builds to that amazing crescendo at the end. I get goosebumps when it fades out every time because as soon as it gets really good, it’s over. Not many songs climax in the last minute. Phil is a musical genius.

Everybody's been talking about Freddie Mercury's performance was one of the best live performances of all time. I don't undermine that but I'm for Phil Collins all the way. And the fact that he played for two continents in one day plus that fight with Led Zeppelin haha nobody could top that!

Just think....there has NEVER been an artist play both sides of the Atlantic on the same day before Phil Collins did this, and it will very likely never happen again.

So glad I was a teenager in the 80ies. The music was fenomenale and I was fan of a lot of bands in that time. Phil Collins was for sure one of them and then there was: Queen, Prince, George Michael, Michael Jackson, U2 and so many others. Just looooove the 80ies with real talent and various sounds♥♥♥

I enjoyed seeing the young children on their parents shoulders enjoying your exquisite performance as all ages do. Your style or voice never gets old. Keep up the great work Phil.

In the mid 80's Phil Collins was arguably the biggest star in the world.

Such a great artist-I was not aware, that he travelled around this world at this time in July 1985!. Even with the Concorde and millions of Dollars on his bank account this was a great energy for human mankind. We should give him the next years as many support he deserved!

Phil Collins was a hit making machine in the mid 80's. Its so appropriate he's the only one who performed in both stadiums in '85.
