I question his physical trainers. Think he would benefit from training more explosive and building some acceleration. He´s agile, and of course he needs stamina, but he would benefit from a sharper stride, that could help him pass defenders easier.

Picture this: You're a player. You have 'stats", just like Fifa ones: 90 - Speed 70 - Stamina 60 - Body Balance 90 - Shooting You already have good Speed and Shooting stats, it's way better to improve your Stamina and Body Balance Stats to a 90 level, and THEN practice your "natural skills", which in this case is Speed and Shooting. Messi for example, he always had "95" Speed and Shooting, so in the last years he's been practicing Stamina, Passing, Body Balance, and all of the things he didn't have at a Top Level. Sure, to get that he had to lose a bit of skill in Speed and Shooting, as we don't see too often Messi doing those runs dribbling every defender possible. But football is a team game, so Messi has enough speed to sprint like hell in a counter-attack, but not enough speed to dribble everyone, instead he dribbles one opponent, passes the ball, and runs to the box so all he have to do is Shoot when he gets a pass. The same goes to Coutinho, you can see in his matches that he try to dribble one player, passes the ball, maybe do a Tiki-Taka, and cross it to the area/cuts to the middle and shoot\pass, nothing too fancy; because there's NO need to be fancy in the pitch.
