Depending on the studio, game, porting cost, timing, and market interest. There are a lot of factors that will go into the decision making so anyone that is following Xbox very closely will not have a simple all or nothing answer.

Xbox will be here next gen - beyond that, if a company like Steam establishes itself in the hook-up console market, it's probably game over for MS hardware in this sector. Gamepass will become an afterthought at that point, as Steam is a cheap platform to play games on, by comparison and has excellent community support, modding potential and an interface that is light years ahead.

I don't think the death of exclusives is a bad thing at all and definitely not "devastating". It's great for the gaming industry as a whole, ans epseccially the consumers. We should be encouragin all console manufacturers to stop having permenant exclusives, that way, the consumer can play whatever they want and just choose their favorite platform to play from.
