Charlie, I just found your vids by chance a couple of days ago and I just want to thank you for doing this. If I look up "the hood" on KZbin, I see ridiculous race-baiting prank videos and never any true look at what the hood is really like. Your vids are raw and real footage of how the other half lives. Most of the time people are content to remain in a bubble and only see their reality, but again, I just want to thank you for giving everyone and anyone insight into someone else's world for a moment, albeit from a distance.

I've thought the same thing, especially when he is filming some shady and/or illegal shit. At first I thought they would be mad but then I think about the youth today and how they would probably eat up being an online 'underground ghetto star.' These kids make Gods out of Instagramers and viral video stars.
@CharlieBo3137 жыл бұрын
I had a couple people contact me who did not like being on here. I blurred one of the persons face and the other I totally deleted the scene they were in, because it's not always possible to blur the face. One thing I notice is people love to watch ghetto fight videos, and those people are being filmed committing illegal acts without there consent and nobody complains about the person recording and putting it online. People are just standing walking or talking for the most part in my videos. The one video where the kids were stealing in the gas station I didn't even know they had done that till after I viewed it later. There are a couple other videos where criminal acts including stealing were committed and I didn't know till people who viewed it pointed it out to me because I don't have to look in the direction I'm recording. Somebody contacted me about that drug sale caught at the end of that Newark video and I blurred the guys face, don't know if that was him.

You should go to Huntington WV, east side. Shootings, OD's, and everything over there. Its known as "little detroit". Very bad area. 8th Ave to McVeigh and Hal Greer to 20th street are notorious (kind of a square area but pretty much a lot of that area from Hal Greer and east of it). Also, Marcum Terrace is the worst of the bunch. The city has a lot of serious problems. If you go, there is a Marathon gas station just a block or so from Cabell Huntington Hospital (on Hal Greer/Charleston Ave). It is held up all the time, and shootings are common. They have been trying to revive the area, but I don't think it will do any good. Video footage of that area would be good to show the public and your subs just how bad of a problem we have there. Anyway, I really enjoy the videos, and thank you for doing them.

I don't think you should block anything. Attempting to block hate speech has done nothing to ease racial tension in parts of this country or improve conditions in the hoods you visit. These places aren't like they are because of hate speech. It is the neighborhood where the Rocky movies are filmed at... From here to about Girard. There is NO EL train running through South Philly as a matter of fact. I think they filmed in Kensington,Fishtown area along to Girard Ave for more of an affect. I actually seen them fuming the later ones, have I have lived in the area on and off for many years, the housing is cheap and I can no longer afford to live downtown as the New Yorkers have driven the prices up. Anyway, there's places in South Philly that are just as rough, but visually I think the Kensington area more effective for a movie. It's ashame but it's been like this since the eighties, even before but got worse I the nineties and has just keep getting worse with the epidemic... It's ashame too bc there are people with families living here and dealing with this everyday.
