Thanks Phil, this is very high quality content! You actually solved a question for me, because I have good aerobic and power/strength conditioning so I can hit and recover all day, but the damn wrestlers were just grinding me out haha So I'm going to get a lactic capacity and power circuit each in every week and build that up. Thanks again, I hope your channel grows since you obviously deserve a large audience with such good quality content

you have to know. i am not a wrestler, but i really like the training break down and i see that groung fighting is a physical chess match. now not dissing boxing, but it's checker to wrestlings chess. well done Phil. on a brief note we need the Viking Americans to step forth. You may not be indigenous to the Americas like we Originals Organic Peoples of the Land are, but this is your Home too. And those lost treaties those fools are looking for say this. These lost treaties secure all and everybody the security of the wayfarer. Do not be fooled Phil you are upholding ancient teaching that happened before The Vikings. So remember all of us are indigenous to this planet. And thanks for the real coaching for a better world. double salutes :phil:

Not being gassed but having lactic capacity give out is a real bad feeling. Feels like catching a breath can usually be done, but if those muscles are fried early in a round, then that is a big problem. Power behind strikes, TDs, very hindered. Glad to see all this covered, thanks for the vid.

Thank you so much i had the pen and paper out for this one usually im just writing out a list of exercises for the day now I can get a better sensd of what you are talking about when you mention the different systems and plan my workouts better. Also, good info on conditioning 4-6 hours after or say before, my tae kwon do classes are twice a week and this gives me a sense of how to aproach those days.

is it useful to apply multiple training principles in 1 training or is it better to change training principles per training
@PhilDaruStrong5 жыл бұрын
roman soran that depends on your circumstances I can go over that in another video but a conjugate approach is very useful when your talking like a sport with mixed energy demands

Thanks for giving us this template; I'm using this along with your previous videos to set up my own training program. I appreciate you taking the time to do this. Question-- what method/devices do you use for HR info? It's hard to wear a chest strap for rolling and throwing. Do just use old-fashioned fingers on carotid?
@PhilDaruStrong5 жыл бұрын
John Smilo we use a polar with Dustin but it does get in the way when grappling so I’ll check his recovery HR between rounds manually

Hello Phil, please could both schedules (off and in camp) be used with S&C workouts being first in the morning of the day and the skill traning later on that day? For example IN CAMP doing sprints in the morning and hard sparring in the evening. Thank you

Coach but alot of the "off/in camp" skill training seems a little mixed. We're wrestling and sparring out of camp at practice. not as often as mit work or hitting the bags but I dont follow ur split given the nature of our training
@SusovanGhosh5 жыл бұрын
If my fight is announced 10 weeks in advance, what should be the duration of my off-camp and in-camp training?

Newcomer here, been recently getting into more and more of these vids, top work! Phil, do you have any recommendations for the average man working 7-5? I normally only get one window to train around 7pm, is it just a case of getting up earlier to squeeze that pre/post secondary workout in?
