Have you never read a rape victim's report in a newspaper?, most retain their anonymity status even after any prosecution they are referred to in court as Person A, B etc. Some give up their right to anonymity *after* a prosecution. I'm not sure on the law when a victim goes public without having contacted police to start criminal investigation and any court case that may result going forward. It would I imagine give rise to not being able to go forward criminally especially in a case like this where PS is known throughout the country, his lawyers would no doubt claim it impossible to have a fair trial. You would need to look more into how cases of that nature are handled, perhaps in camera with only the jury being present?.
