I come a long, long line of school teachers, principals, and school psychologists, and I would never send my children to a public school ever again. I’m thankful mine are past that age, it’s horrific what’s going on in schools these days. Even private ones. Our kids went to a Christian school and they are the only ones, outside of home schooling, I would recommend for my future grandchildren.
@bipslone88802 жыл бұрын
Not everyone is as rich as you and can afford private Christian schools. Not everyone can live on a single income, allowing them to home school. You hate public schools because they don't enforce your Christian indoctrination.
@Andersons9992 жыл бұрын
Some parents can not afford private schools and parents can not home school their kids because their working. Also if it was not for public school some kids won’t even eat. I know this because when they do not have school in summer I help get food to the hungry little ones. Do not bash all public schools. Happy Easter 🐰

@@Andersons999 we couldn’t afford private school for all of our kids, but it was important to us, and very important to me that my children not attend public school, so we found away. My family have been teachers since the 1800’s, and I am a teacher myself, but public schools are no longer a safe place for children. Also, schools are not responsible for feeding children. That’s the parent’s responsibility. When schools providing meals, that’s when the boards of education started taking on more of the parental tasks, which has lead us to where we are now, them demanding that they have the right to teach our children about sex and gender, and we, the parents, no longer have any rights.

Before you throw all of us public school teachers under the bus - pardon the pun - just know that there are those schools like ours that do not indoctrinate with the alternative lifestyle. We say the US Pledge & the Texas Pledge & a moment of prayer EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL DAY. We try our best to teach kids to be responsible, young adults, but we can only do so much. Every school is a reflection of what is going on in society. And, well, you see what we’re going up against…. So, please, do not lump us all together with those few schools that cave in to the far left. Help a teacher: make parenting great again.

I am a senior pastor and public school teacher. I have two kids in public high school and one in public middle school. I would love for you to reconsider your thoughts concerning public school and how nobody should send their kids there. While y’all run from the schools, I encourage those believers that read this to continue to be a bright light in a very dark place. If all Christian’s leave the public schools, who will shine bright those those who need it most? We’ve seen more salvations than I can count through my children being in public schools and many more from the rest of our family in the same spaces. If you raise your children well they will be in the world and not of it and live out the greatest commandment… to love God and love people. Thanks for all y’all do!

Thank you for this segment. I homeschooled my son for his middle school academics. He was behind in reading comprehension and he had ADHD. I faith based his home schooling, teaching him about embracing God's creations and having faith in himself. It was powerful to do so. His sister on the other hand continued to do public school and strives as she makes straight As in honor classes and plays the violin. She's younger than him but makes sure he stays on track with his assignments. One thing I learned with both, you have to be committed in their education and be involved with the school. Now, my son is in the 11th and attends public school. I'm very active. I made my presence in his school and dared anyone to question why I homeschooled my son. I let it be his decision to go back and he's striving. I believe I'm at the school at least once a month to help spearhead the parents association. I'm also am active in my community as are my children. I wanted to create a village and have so. My son is in the police explorers and is the first one out the door if the Mayor needs him to volunteer. All of this has been done on faith, living in our truth, and embracing a one love mentality!

They know this realm belongs to the enemy, but their "guard" is being let down. Of course, if you raise them in scripture, they should return! Hope it isn't too late when they decide! My kids tell me everything they do on a daily basis at school. And trust me if there comes a day where I disagree with what they are being taught, my wife and I will go have a chat with the school. Not all public schools are bad. If we had lived in town I would have driven my kids to one of two schools in our county. Luckily we live on a farm out in nowhere and one of these school was theirs according to the voting s zone we are in.. My girls went to a small school with varying student body of 350-400 kids grade pre-k through 8th grade. We have praying teachers. Safe zones for any child who feels the need for comfort or a time out with God. Teachers can't talk or ask about God unless a child brings it up. The kids do and the teachers talk. Our two small country schools have higher scores on the yearly state tests than the town schools. When they went to high-school the girls did fine. Good grades. My 22 year old graduated with her RN degree last year. The oldest graduates in May with a teaching degree. Covid put her behind because she couldn't get in her required student teaching hours. All that said there are schools I wouldn't send my kids to. As the point has been made for many kids the schools good or bad is a refuge and where they get most if their food. We have a program we send home bags of food on last day of week to make sure they have something over the weekend. On longer breaks food boxes. If there are younger kids at home a bag is sent for them. We also have clothing and shoes in case there is a need. The kids or parents can discretely ask for assistance with needs. Sadly for many kids school takes the place of family. Even if the school itself isn't the greatest. When the girls went to high school they were fine. Good grades, stayed out of trouble etc. The youngest is an RN and the oldest graduates next month with a teaching degree. Held back due to covid rules not allowing her to go into schools to get student teaching hours.

You don't need to be rude, if you don't like what he says then don't watch it. And are you saying not blessed like him as in your not a millionaire?, Or you don't have the faith like he and his family does?. I would rather my whole family and I share the same faith and values like his family does then to have even a small portion of his money. Because in the end money doesn't matter but our faith does and I'm trying to talk my sister into just looking into the Christian faith but I'm not getting anywhere

As Christian parents we always have a choice even if that choice has to be making a very serious effort to know exactly what our children are learning, academically and spiritually, in the schools we send our children. Everyone's circumstances are different. It's critical to ask me ourselves what are your priorities. That's what will motivate us.

@TallyG Phil thinks everyone can afford private schools or has a good a single income, so they can home school.
