This is the first time I have listened to your podcast. Now I am a Christian since 2005 when I dedicated my life to God. Your podcast is really a wonderfully awesome experience for people to watch and relate to. My mother read the Bible everyday and before she died in 2020 I felt like I was called to start reading the Bible also. Now reading the Bible has become a daily activity for me. Maybe someday I will come visit you when I'm in route to see my son and granddaughter at Flower Mound, Texas. I have been a member of Unashamed Nation since the beginning. We have been using Duck Commander Duck calls here in Southwest Louisiana since I was a kid hunting in Gueydan, the Duck Captital of the world. I'm sending this message while watching In The Woods with Phil. And I have always admired Phil for his knowledge of the Duck world but more importantly the spiritual world. And I have often wondered what kind of bible he reads? It's time for a new one and I'd like one that big. Is it a NKJV study Bible?? @@susehendricks6217 Can’t say I agree; some leave out pertinent words, even whole verses, that give the gospel message! Be very careful. I read and go by mainly NKJ version or the King James.

I hear stories about people I knew in High School and rejoice when I hear they have decided to follow Jesus. They weren’t followers then but now they are. I also grieve because I see reports about some who have died and there is no indication that they ever decided to follow Jesus. It grieves me that I never shared the good news with them. I don’t know that I really understood the gospel then. But I did believe in Jesus but my relationship has changed since then.

We still use a rolodex at Church and the Church still has a landline. They use the computer for Church business like sending out emails with Church bulletin in the emails. My pastor doesn't know how to use a computer he doesn't even own one he leaves all the computer stuff to the Church secretary. He writes her a note and leaves it on her desk to tell her what to put on the computer. Tommy johns makes underwear for women too not just men. I saw an ad for them

Some verses deal with salvation. Some are about lifestyle. You have died.. put to death... is a little of both? You have died, past tense, is our salvation through Jesus. Put to death.. is our part in clearing out everything that doesn't fit a Godly lifestyle. It's like the Jews cleaning house for passover. Get rid of the yeast. Purifying our lifestyle is the proper response to the already done act of Jesus purifying our heart. something like that.
