I understand how living with family could be difficult at times but... I would love having a family compound. I am not fond of cooking but I would love meals like y'all have. You're family is a blessing to behold. Thank you for being the example. Much love ❤
@doreenhuston96232 жыл бұрын
Coming from a family of five kids who have nothing in common and do not get along,a family compound with my rude, passive aggressive brothers would be a nightmare. I would love to have a family compound like the Robertsons where people make an effort to get along. Would be wonderful. My family is really my sister, my dad (90), and my three sons. The family unit has somewhat fallen apart in this country. United we stand, divided we fall.

Wish I had come from a family like y’all’s. I am 65 and come from a family of five kids and none of us are really close. We don’t get along. My sister and I talk but really have very little in common. My brothers are rude and unpleasant to be around. So, you guys are blessed.

@@bipslone8880 My parents divorced about the time I finished high. My Dad was not involved in my younger 3 siblings life much. Without the help of a man my older and middle brother reeked havoc in the home and both ended up hooked on drugs. It wasn’t a good place for the younger two to grow up. I did not grow up the way they did. I got married had children and have my own home. I earned a college degree and try to live a decent Christian life. My oldest brother lives in a rent controlled apartment with bedbugs. He may still do drugs? Years ago he was picked up off the streets of Austin, Texas where he overdosed. My middle brother is only 61 and in a nursing home not doing well. I help him manage his care. My youngest brother can barely take care of himself and his own two children will have nothing to do with him because he was so verbally abusive. So my sister and I talk and love each other. We are very different probably because we had totally different upbringings. So you assuming it is me is a very shallow and rude assumption. I will consider the source.

Miss Kay is just like my momma, she passed this past year, and I miss her so much. Every time I watch miss Kay I think of my momma. There's 4 of us kids, and we were raised the same as yall were. We are all about the same age as willy and Jase. We grew up about two hundred miles north of west Monroe in Caledonia Mississippi. So we have so much in common with yall. We just love you all. Reminds us of home.

These mean so much to me for many reasons. I was an only child and and an only grandchild. My Mama was an only child and my Daddy was the baby of his family. Tell me I wasn't born to be a mess.....lol!!! I lost my parents within 6 weeks of each other and I don't have any other family left at all. Listening to these stories brings me close to a life I can barely imagine. I LOVE it!! I have many many wonderful friends and my boyfriends family has been great but it's just not the same so I've kind of adopted the Robertsons as my own. SHHHHH! They don't know and I don't want to scare them...lol!! Blessings and hugs to anyone who reads this...

This reminded me of my home room table in high school. I sat with 3 beautiful girls and we were good friends. Too bad in didn’t make a move I was too shy. Now I’m stuck single and love it lol. But at the same time... kids if you feel that you like a girl...go for it.. she may be waiting for you to ask, don’t miss out one what could have been like I did😿 and don’t be affected or afraid of rejection. That was my problem
