Please pray for my family as we are going through hard times similar to the before of this family, though not entirely the same issues, but very broken. My prayer is we have a family like you all have now. Not the fame, but the glory to God for the story being healed and changed by the Lord. I'm holding on like Miss Kay and a lot of people think I shouldn't but it's been 18 years of marriage and i do love him even though it had not been easy all the time. I want what God wants for our family. Thanks for being an encouragement to so many!

38:20- I can relate to the ladies. I picked my husband when I was 8, he didn't notice me till I was 13, dating 15, married 19. Still together now (30). We've been together half of my life and our story is very similar to Al and Lisa's. They, along with Phil and Kay's testimony gave me the courage to stay when everyone was telling me to leave. Best decision I've ever made other than accepting Christ. Thank you all for sharing!

My father and mother in law started their marriage like Phil and Kay. They were raised rough and poor. Started their marriage with nothing. He drank; she took care of the babies. He did work hard and took care of family. Then they were saved. And he became a preacher. Their end-of- life was better than the beginning.

This was such a sweet episode. Made me cry. Lisa I didn't grow up seeing respect for the daughter in law's and only the son in law's had respect. I am told "wait till you get daughter in laws they will be awful!" I said NOPE! I'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR THE GIRLS THAT MY BOYS ARE GOING TO MARRY SINCE MY SON'S WERE IN MY BELLY AND I AM GOING TO LOVE MY DAUGHTER IN LAWS!! Mrs Kay and Lisa, I wish I had this advice about patience and forgiveness, compassion as a "proclaimed christian" when I was married because he was not a follower of Christ and it made life soooo difficult, all we did was argue about church...maybe life would be different now. Lots of mistakes, lots of regrets. But I am REALLY TRYING to follow my Lord now and one day relationships will be restored through the power of the Holy Spirit (I am estranged from 17yo son...he is a cross of Jase (life is always a debate) and Willie (my son sold stuff at school also lol ) I want him back so badly but more importantly, I want both my boys reconciled to the Lord...ty.
