Today’s recipe is lunchbox Bharli Bhendi with MAGGI Masala-ae-Magic. This is a special episode as my husband loves Bharli Bhendi. MAGGI Masala-ae-Magic transforms our Bhaji to KAMAAL ka Bharli Bhendi.
डब्यात देण्यासाठी भरली भेंडी करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• १/२ कप कच्चे शेंगदाणे
• कढीपत्ता
• १/४ कप किसलेलं सुकं खोबरं
• ४~५ लसूण पाकळ्या
• १ चमचा पांढरे तीळ
• १ चमचा जिरं
• १ चमचा गोडा मसाला
• १ चमचा धनेपूड
• १ चमचा लाल तिखट
• १/४ चमचा चाट मसाला (ऐच्छिक)
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर
• २~३ मोठे चमचे तेल
• १ सॅचेट मॅगी मसाला-ए-मॅजिक

Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup raw Peanuts
• Curry leaves
• 1/4 cup grated dry Coconut
• 4~5 Garlic cloves
• 1 tsp white Sesame seeds
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1 tsp Goda masala
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• 1/4 tsp Chat masala (Optional)
• Salt to taste
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 250 gm Bhendi
• 2~3 tbsp Oil
• 1 sachet Maggie Masala-e-Magic
Method:
• Dry roast peanuts until they turn light reddish and add curry leaves, dry coconut and garlic.
• Fry everything well together until coconut begins to change the color.
• Move everything along the edge of the pan and add sesame seeds and cumin seeds in the
remaining space.
• Roast both well and mix it with all other roasted spices.
• Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool down.
• Transfer it into a blender jar and blend it into coarse powder.
• Transfer the mixture into a dish and add goda masala, coriander powder, red chili powder, chat
masala and salt.
• Adding chat masala is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• Or you can use lemon juice in place of chat masala.
• Mix everything well together and add coriander leaves.
• Mix well and stuffing is ready.
• Wash bhendi really good and dry it completely.
• Cut off both ends and cut each bhendi into 2 pieces.
• Make a slit into each piece. Make sure you don’t cut it thoroughly.
• Fill in the stuffing in each piece and press it well.
• You can keep it ready previous night and fry next morning.
• Heat up oil in a pan and add bhendi. Make sure you keep the stuffed side facing upward.
• Cover and steam the bhendi for just about 5 minutes.
• Remove the lid and flip each bhendi over.
• Fry it until bhendi is cooked well and add the leftover stuffing.
• Mix well and dry well for about 2-3 minutes.
• Add Maggie masala-e-magic and mix well.
• Fry well for 2-3 minutes more. Bharli bhendi is ready.
