While under the influence of laughing gas at the dentist's office, Helga unintentionally picks up the phone and confesses her undying love and affection for Arnold onto his answering machine. Now, Helga tries to sneak into Arnold's boarding house and steal the answering machine's tape before anyone hears it.

Well whenever Helga screams bloody murder, it seems like only Arnold hears something and no one else does. Like in this one, he asked Gerald if he heard anything and Gerald shook his head saying, "no I didn't hear anything" So I'm assuming they assumed they could've imagined the whole thing. Or simply that Helga is sort of like the Kramer of Seinfeld, and they don't ask those types of questions like Helga just popping out of the wall all dusty and all, just like in the hot tub one where Kramer was using Jerry's sink to fill buckets of water
