Something is really wrong with all the rampant rent gouging. We need some sort of rent control, it’s becoming unaffordable.
@angieharris80152 жыл бұрын
Rent control doesn't help, it hurts. People never move out of them thereby keeping the amount of rentals available, very limited. Plus, owners rather just sell them and get out of the business,, if they can't charge market price (to keep up with the costs of maintaining the property). Be careful what you wish for.

And you think to yourself, 💭🤔 wtf are they thinking ???? Being it’s landlords or sellers. They always think that their property is worth WAY more than it realistically is. A property is only worth what someone is willing to pay. If we keep giving to their overpriced rentals, they will continue to increase rent. In this market, seems like anything goes! What's up with AZ closing pools in the winter. Florida never closes pools despite it dropping to the high 20s sometimes. I've been in the pool at 38f 😂 🥶 I'll never try that again. It should honestly be open at least above 65f which is usual river air temps.

Its insanity especially since I live in a subdivision with an HOA. How can they tell homeowners when to use the pool we pay to maintain?

Big Super, first off, bless you for trying to hold it together, though you STILL called it like you saw it with the name of this vid. I'm big on making the best of things when I have to, BUT... O-o-o-ooh! We have communities like this here, and I hate driving through them. Even in broad daylight, they are absolutely soul-sucking. And that...place?. Appreciate the share, but I couldn't. Hard-d-d pass. And that you took that pause when you walked in. "Okay..." and the memes don't make it better. *LOL*

Maybe the dial in the closet was for an old swamp cooler or AC/ heating unit?We looked for apartments in Mesa for my daughter, anything under $1000 (studio, 1 bedroom) was in either a bad neighborhood, trashed and dirty, or section 8.

The cost of living in Arizona is high, you have to drive everywhere. And wages don’t keep up. Ever since I moved here 4 years ago, I have been sick most of the time. Waiting to move out of state. To dry and dusty here

I’m thinking that is a swamp cooler. It probably does not have air-conditioning. It probably has heat and a swamp cooler is what it looks like to me. That little switch in the bedroom

There’s a place not incredibly far from there I think it’s called Starduster, a building supply place sort of like the thrift store of building materials. Been there years ago, great for cheap shelving used in a garage or shed. If you just need something functional not necessarily pretty good place to go.

You couldn't call it in the video, but it look like Laminate flooring for back splash in the kitchen.
