Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia says team is in a 'great' position moving forward

Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia downplayed fan frustration and the national media's negative reaction to the team's first-round playoff exit Wednesday.
"The narrative around 'the house is burning' is incorrect. The Phoenix Suns are doing great," Ishbia said at a press conference with GM James Jones.

@@taylorsmith9629 No. Sarver is and always was a cheap stake. He paid the luxury tax once in almost 20 years as owner, he sold draft picks for money, allowed Joe Johnson to walk because of money, etc. Ishbia is always going to be aggressive and spend what it takes but it’s not always going to work like he mentioned in his press conference.
