You can build this simple phone stand for almost no cost but the electricity used to make it. I show additional stand options. This wood working project takes about 15 minutes to make.

Awesome! Literally was just looking at some 2 inch oak scraps last night wondering what I could make from them. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

really easy. I will try it. I am not a woodworker by any means. Wish me luck. This is for my wife.

Groovy you're funny. I showed a girl at work all the pictures of every single one you made. She says can you make all of them? I said done. She could not comprehend that it wasn't that hard to make these holders. So anybody out there. These work well like touch them and they look great. Don't be scared you can sand, carve them them, color, paint and have a great time. Just a suggestion if you happen to have any leather lying around that works really well instead of felt( Nobody knows what felt is anymore😂). If finding an old piece of leather stumps you. Look in your dad's closet for an old belt. Or an old glove or an old purse. Basically anything leather. Even fake leather will work.

Is it possible to use wood varnish over the boiled linseed oil? Because I want to paint on top of the wood after. Or should I just skip the linseed oil and use a coloured varnish?
@AlleyPicked4 жыл бұрын
I would skip the linseed oil. Takes a long time to fully dry.

Can you please give the measurements of the groovy one? The adjustable one. 0:53... I wanna make one, but I can't see clearly the mechanism. Thanks.

That one was a bit tricky to make. It took me awhile to figure out. I played with various angles. That angle was about 85 degrees. The base is 3.5" x 1.5". The opening for the phone is 15/16". 3/4" thick. I can send you some pictures if you give me your email address which you can then delete from this post after I see it. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching Alley Picked! Tom
