You brought back the sky writing intro! 👏 Great video man. Glad you were able to at least get a few stills. That would have drove me bananas to be out there for that long and not get any milky way.

Hi Alyn. Bummer about the weather buddy !! The pano is a belter - rescued the final night !! I had a look at the Shimoda bag but the price with the ICU included was eyewatering ! Nick Page is a big fan of the 40ltr version so perhaps that's a better day bag, but definitely not in the awful green colour !! Better luck with clearer skies now you're back in the UK, hopefully this weekend (according to latest forecast). I'm off to Devon on Monday to catch a seascape astro with the new moon sky :) Thanks for sharing another cracking video Alyn.

I feel your pain about the bloody clouds. We spent two weeks in the outer Hebrides, planned around a new moon, and was clouded out every night bar one.

Thanks for the great video. Karadeniz is quite challenging in terms of weather, it changes so fast and so dramatically. Tough to manage your photography, your composition and your temper as well 😁

Even though the weather was not on your side Alyn, the final image was great and pleased you didn’t come away emptied handed. Was gutted I missed out on your new workshops in the breacon beacons but will be keeping a close eye on the email in case any spaces open up.

Bit off topic as I know your shooting Sony but when you had the 6D did you ever use the sigma 20mm f1.4? I've gotta samyang 14mm and I just find it to wide and not as sharp in the edges as I would like, keep the good work up mate 👍

Impressive, as always. Impressive too is your ability to speak conversational Turkish with such ease. A difficult language, that.

Your turkish always surprising me mate. You speak turkish really well. Cappodoccia was good, but karadeniz mehh. You can find these kind of scenery in other countries too, theres nothing special in my opinion. Maybe next time you can check lycian way in southern turkey, it would be a good with ancient cities and the milky way together. I like to see this kind of composition.

In Karadeniz; if weather doesn't allow you, you can't do absolutely anything I mean absolutely anything! You have to be lucky
