For me, the foreground was in focus whereas I want the mid-ground in focus. When I paint I tend to blur the foreground.

Ya I keep going back and forth. On POV I think I may try focus stacking some day.

@@fuelediowa This is after being in the shower and thinking about the image. I think the subject matter should be the barn. Because a lot is going on with the barn. From your photo, I cannot tell if you are taking a picture of the barn. I thought it was a house with a broken tree next to it. The only reason why I know it is a barn is because you said it was a barn with equipment next to it. It is an old barn and it is rustic. With old equipment next to it. And that the trees are damaged as well. Just adds to the idea of the barn's story. The winding road right now is the subject matter. I do feel that a foreground is wise. Also, the foreground should be the plants. Just that the winding road is a S curve. Just like the Banksy painting, Girl with a Balloon. We use the S curve to accent the subject matter. It is a great way to lead the viewer's eye to the foreground from the mid-ground. You could do what Banksy did with the S curve. You could use the winding road and the barn. The same way that Banksy uses the string leading to the red balloon. The Asymmetry of the tree line is on the right side of the photo. The farm field is on the left. Relations with each other are the real seller. Which you captured perfectly. I implore you. Sir, please retake the photo with that idea in mind.
