Thank you! Whenever I want to catch upon a seminar I've missed, I simply choose to listen to your really wonderful lectures and , also, understand what I couldn't quite grasp these terminological terms from the reading materials, which are simply latinized, but still... :) Wonderful job everyone!

i am sorry for pointing out a slight error in 06:11, the Chinese Word '愚‘ here is a rise tone rather than a level one, so the character with a level tone here should be 迂 instead.

Thank you so much. This was informative with realistic examples and demonstrations by the students themselves. My students will enjoy this video.

Great lesson. The flirting at 12:45 might be considered inappropriate, though.

Nah, was part of the lecture ice-breaking. Now, both of them were fine with it, but we could always interpret it in a different way.

Your E-lectures are really very helpful for me and no doubt for the others too. I have a confusion concerning Suprasegmental features and supreasegmental units. So could you please show me some examples to justify the relationship between them? Thankyou.:)

A cogent explanation. Will be waiting for the further tackling of Prosody and it would be nice to see other languages than English as the base example.

In American English, at least, “She washed and brushed her hair” only has one possible meaning. If she washed her hands, you would need to say that explicitly.

5:14 Why is she pronouncing 愚 in the first tone? It should be the second tone.
