Do you mind sharing what your plan was? I was thinking that you would use chapter 2 of Gix at 16:35 to get Invoke Despair to take out Liliana and then revive Jin the next turn with 2 Negates to protect him. I was a bit surprised when you went for the card draw.

Sonio, you pressed end turn before you put the stop, the game registers the start of your opponents turn now without a stop included, in other words you were very late on it. Then after Liliana ultimate you clicked resolve locking you out as the ability needs to resolve first.

It's more like an anti-deadly combination, because Jin makes you draw double the cards and Sheoldred makes you get life from that, but there are no effects in the deck that makes the enemy draw more cards and lose life.

Is Blood Pact not in arena, or did you just not think it was good enough? Seems like it would have worked well with the Phyrexians. 12 damage from one 3-mana instant that could also draw you cards instead, all at instant speed, seems cool.

Of course you play against like only black decks when this is a little weak to underdog and liliana haha, list looks sick though, I think there could be a real dimir control deck that looks like this, especially once we have the pain land

Nice video. I don't know what your stats say, but I kind of think you should show the deck for just a second or two longer. It's very hard to see what the deck is doing in time before the match starts.

Really sweet deck and games. But tell me, what % of the games does opp scoop when u have nothing in hand to kill them with? 😅The number of times u get a free win this way is insane with control. Most interesting spot - IF you watched this game and are reading this - What do YOU do with those 2 Liliana Piles ???? ur at like 5 life, one pile is all your land, other pile is meathook, Gin Gitaxis, Cruelty on 2 and one land. I have no idea what is the right answer here. if u keep Gin, they can't just cast invoke unless they have something else to cast first. but if they do have two kill spells and they can kill Gin, ur prob just dead with no lands.
