Only a small percentage of Christians believe what you believe. I mean many aren't convinced that the shroud is of the 1st Century, never mind that it's supposedly Jesus. And forget about the "it's proof of the resurrection" & the cold nuclear fusion claims. I hope you can understand what I'm saying without taking offence. If I'm applying Occam's Razor, that the simplest explanation is often the correct explanation, you'd understand why it's impossible for me to accept the ridiculously complicated explanation that you believe.

@@johnmichaelson9173 You are incorrectly using the Occam's razor is a principle. Medieval artists didn't have the technology to impart the image on linen fibers, so this is not the simple explanation. This would be the most complex and befuddling explanation of all.

@@johnmichaelson9173 There are too many things that disrupt your simple explanation. Like the 3d holographic image contained in the outermost fibers of the Shroud. Which couldn't possibly have been made by a medieval forger. Even scientists today are unable to explain how the image was formed or produce a copy. Why would a forger choose to make a photographic negative 2d/3d image in the first place. It doesn't make any sense. Neither do the nail wounds in the wrists which goes against all medieval depictions of Jesus which always show the wounds in the palms. There is no simple explanation for the Shroud of Turin except that it is a one of a kind 2,000 year old miracle! This is a SUMMARY of STURP's Conclusions made by the numerous scientists who conducted the study of the Shroud in 1978. Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP) "No pigments, paints, dyes or stains have been found on the fibrils. X-ray, fluorescence and microchemistry on the fibrils preclude the possibility of paint being used as a method for creating the image. Ultra Violet and infrared evaluation confirm these studies. Computer image enhancement and analysis by a device known as a VP-8 image analyzer show that the image has unique, three-dimensional information encoded in it. Microchemical evaluation has indicated no evidence of any spices, oils, or any biochemicals known to be produced by the body in life or in death. It is clear that there has been a direct contact of the Shroud with a body, which explains certain features such as scourge marks, as well as the blood. However, while this type of contact might explain some of the features of the torso, it is totally incapable of explaining the image of the face with the high resolution that has been amply demonstrated by photography. The basic problem from a scientific point of view is that some explanations which might be tenable from a chemical point of view, are precluded by physics. Contrariwise, certain physical explanations which may be attractive are completely precluded by the chemistry. For an adequate explanation for the image of the Shroud, one must have an explanation which is scientifically sound, from a physical, chemical, biological and medical viewpoint. At the present, this type of solution does not appear to be obtainable by the best efforts of the members of the Shroud Team. Furthermore, experiments in physics and chemistry with old linen have failed to reproduce adequately the phenomenon presented by the Shroud of Turin. The scientific consensus is that the image was produced by something which resulted in oxidation, dehydration and conjugation of the polysaccharide structure of the microfibrils of the linen itself. Such changes can be duplicated in the laboratory by certain chemical and physical processes. A similar type of change in linen can be obtained by sulfuric acid or heat. However, there are no chemical or physical methods known which can account for the totality of the image, nor can any combination of physical, chemical, biological or medical circumstances explain the image adequately. Thus, the answer to the question of how the image was produced or what produced the image remains, now, as it has in the past, a mystery. We can conclude for now that the Shroud image is that of a real human form of a scourged, crucified man. It is not the product of an artist. The blood stains are composed of hemoglobin and also give a positive test for serum albumin. The image is an ongoing mystery and until further chemical studies are made, perhaps by this group of scientists, or perhaps by some scientists in the future, the problem remains unsolved."

I was enthralled with this relic when I was younger. When they carbon dated it back in the eighties I never gave up on its authenticity. There was just so much more unbelievable evidence of it not being a forgery. I knew in my heart something was wrong with the testing. God is now revealing the truth and showing us the proof of the resurrection.

Another theory I heard is that the resurrection itself was a locality of the creation of the universe - the universe renewed, recreated. Christ’s body acted as an event horizon while it was lifted up as He was coming back to life. Christ is Risen! Христос Воскресе! Hristos Anesti!

I've been feeling the call to Jesus, initially as spiritual help to quit marijuana and work on self discipline because I haven't been able to do so by myself. But then as I learned more about Catholicism I felt compelled to convert (haven't yet) and find myself watching Mass (baby steps for me) online. Well the rabbit hole of KZbin led me to the shroud, and then to multiple videos about the science that has been suppressed (I wonder...🤔) and long story short (more like short story long 😂) sign after sign tells me I need to get off my butt and head over to my local parish and join the classes to convert! @@LilaRosePodcast I talked to shroud dot com and they were unable to disprove that it was created with radiation - of the sun, with partial covers on the shroud (another cloth), like a photographic exposure (Alan Adler noted that the cloth is not light-stable). A big problem with "radiation from a body" is that the image fibers are right next to blank ones - so the radiation would have to be in narrow streams somehow, whereas on the other hand this is exactly what you expect if the light was dosed by/passing through the micro-"windows" in the cloth (=fine mesh) covering it. So it was a medieval forg3ry after all. As to the resurrection, it was stag3d by the Romans, as explained in "The Gospel of Afranius".

❤🔥🙏 There is also the Veil in Manoppello. It dates back to the same time as the Shroud of Turin. The image of the face imprinted on it matches perfecting the image on the Shroud. And the blood group is the same. What I find most fascinating is something that goes in line with the theory that enormous energy must have accompanied the disappearance of the body… The image on the Veil is one of a face with the eyes open. There are holes burnt in the fabric in the places where pupils should be. 😍🔥❤️🐑🌿 The Veil is called “Vero Icon”, meaning “THE TRUE IMAGE.” Originally, the Veil was kept in the center of the St Peter’s Basilica in Vatican - until it was stollen and found in Manoppello. It seems to explain why Catholic tradition mentions a woman called Veronica who wiped Jesus’ face during His Passion. She isn’t mentioned in the Bible. Vero Icon -> Veronica. Father Spitzer didn’t mention it but Doctor Tucker has explained how the particle theory would have distorted the carbon dating by depositing more carbon 14 atoms in the cloth, making it look more recent in time.

The test sample was made of cotton but the shroud is made of flax…. The test piece was from a repair…. An updated test called WAXS wide angle X-ray scattering dates the shroud to 50-70AD….

The reason why the Shroud of Turin was carbon tested to date back to the Middle Ages was simply because portions of the Shroud of Turin that were scorched by fire were rewoven by the French nuns during the Middle Ages who spliced the linen threads with cotton threads thus the portion from where samples were taken for carbon dating were contaminated with cotton.

One theory which I think has been demonstrated somewhat in a test, is laser like energy. They had am image appear much later. So if the resurrection emitted a laser like energy, it could have started appearing over time. Surprised he didn't mention this.

It’s so interesting to learn all these things, but we need to know and understand. The fact of the matter is that Jesus died on the cross rose in three days and currently sits at the right hand of his father. He tells us to get to know him to Follow him to emulate him and treat others with love and peace always always. The disciples asked him what the most important commandment was, and he said love the Lord God with all your heart and love your neighbor. Disciples asked Jesus who is the most important in the kingdom of heaven, and Jesus said, you must have a child life mentality when it comes to your view of heaven. That all the little children are precious, and we care for them graciously humbly, and with the love of Christ at the forefront.

As Americans we don’t learn about world history, even though our history books say so… we learn what the publishers want us to know. An event which happened must be told,It is my obligation to say it others have the right to know. I am from the state of Qatar, It is a miracle to see an image of a person on the ceiling of my room which appeared in April 2016. The facial features are somewhat long and beautiful, with a light beard, and his hair reaches the beginning of the shoulders with sharp and glamorous eyes and a cheerful look, features are mostly from the northern Middle East or southern Europe's The picture so clear to the point of being beyond imagination, which amazed me,the incident happened quickly. I was asleep and woke up suddenly to witness the event with all my senses aware of what was happening by seeing the image. At first, I thought that he resembled a friend to a very slight degree, but inspiration came to my mind quickly. He is Christ, It took a time can not estimate , not knowing what occurred later , when I went back to sleep . using google to translate Arabic to English,

Totally agreeing on both of them... People want more miracles?! Spreading the news, would it be "Making an ACT on your Faith"? Only Faith alone? I doubt it. But if the shround isn’t the mandylion we have some difficulty to retrace the shround in the first centuries.. sadly we don’t have any direct report of the shround in the first centuries… this is the biggest problem, we only have the declaration of Robert of Clary in the times of the crusades when he spoke about a shround with the entire image of Jesus at Constantinopoli but this is only around 1200, where we can find the shround before if it isn’t the mandylion of Edessa?

I believe that Mel Gibson got it right with the passion of the Christ that scene when Christ resurrected, and that burst of light came from his body I believe that’s exactly what happened when the Lord was resurrecting him there was a burst of tremendous UV x-ray light. And I remember when I first saw the shroud that was the first thing that came to mine is this looks like an x-ray. And that’s the only thing that makes perfect sense.

I would argue that after the cloth was removed from the tomb, one of his disciples or Jesus mother would have possession of the shroud. That cloth must have fingerprint DNA of the disciples and Mary and future generations while hidden for centuries. 🧬🧬🧬

It will be their loss, for these ones are like what the apostle Paul wrote about at 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4: "If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God (and NOT God), might not shine through."

Wrong. Those of us that know the Bible as well as the Shroud know that the facecloth of Jesus was wrapped around his head after he died but was still on the cross. After Joeseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus brought the body of Jesus into the tomb it was removed, folded, and set aside. It was never put back on him again. Had he been wearing it his image would be on there and not the Shroud. And those strips of cloth were used to hold his limbs in place during rigor. And for securing the Shroud to his body. He was not wrapped up like King Tut! 😂 Those of us with even a tiny bit of intelligence know that the bishop's letter to the Pope was after a local artist, in a feeble attempt to make a name for himself, told him that it was he that painted the cloth. The bishop, being the gullible old fool that he was, took him at his word. Of course, they did not have the testing back then they do now, or they quickly would have discovered that there is not so much as a _drop_ of paint, or _any other manmade material_ on the image on the Shroud. The fact is that there are no pigments, paints, dyes or stains have been found on the fibrils. There are no chemical or physical methods known which can account for the totality of the image, nor can any combination of physical, chemical, biological or medical circumstances explain the image adequately. Your ignorance about the length of his hair is not to be denied either. When it comes to the passage from I Cor. 11:14, one must remember that it was written at least 20 years after the death of Jesus. Closer study will reveal that it is simply Paul's personal opinion and certainly _not_ a regulation which would have applied to Jesus during his lifetime. Jesus had long hair. And the laughable carbon dating was debunked almost two decades ago! There sure are some mighty dumb people out there will find some mighty dumb reasons to call the Holy Shroud a hoax!

I recently learned about rainbow bodies and I think Jesus reached the rainbow body and took it to the next level of reincarnation. Interesting fact is that rainbow body is only reached in extreme peace and happiness. I think the lord was happy of saving us, all humanity.

There are no "pyshics" to the Resurrection it's called a miracle for a reason. That Catholics particularly can't see this explanation as complete pantheism is beyond belief and demonstrates beyond a shadow of a doubt how poorly catechized we are. None of the forementioned have any basis in the Holy Scriptures. Just as the trinity and a burning hell. All of these things are man made myths, not facts from the Holy Scriptures! If the shroud is so important, where is it held holy in the Holy Scriptures? Is it more important than Christ Jesus or our Heavenly Father? Be very careful because satan is the master of deception!

When scientists reexamined the shroud in 1988, they took only one sample from the cloth. It was taken from a corner which had been damaged by fire and repaired. The cotton used for the repair was from the 1300's. The researchers failed to conduct proper protocol. Seven samples from different parts of the cloth were to be taken. The only sample taken was cut into three pieces. Later examinations refuted the flawed findings from 1988.

While I don’t need proof of The Shroud to establish my Faith, I see it as true evidence of His Resurrection! If there was this kind of proof available for, let’s say Muhammad, the liberal Christian hating mob would be shouting to the roof tops that their religion was the Truth! But it isn’t so the Shroud will always be dismissed by the skeptics of Christianity!
