This discussion is brilliant! Psycho-social is the most important to help a person heal! The American medical scene generally recommends pain pills over any other method of help. I was lucky to live in Germany for much of my very sporty life, 20, 30 and 40 years of age and had great doctors, physios and massage therapists. They had experience as athletes themselves, understood the process of psychology in healing and how to lead people out of immobility and pain. People need hands on treatment, touch is in itself healing to a certain extent. It just gives the patient a sense of empathy and builds trust. Then you can really push them to try something new. I am just moving myself through cyst in L5 and SI joint spine and rip in hip meniscus. I have had to rely on Physiotutors, John Gibbons and John Keeley to get myself through covid and the unresponsive medical scene. Educating myself and self help reducing two disc bulges, cyst and hip, with the help of McKenzie extension exercise. Now finally in PT, but wish I had someone like you guys to help me. Americans are just so hyper about being touched! I have been an athlete my whole life and been through lots of injuries, pain, etc. and now at 56 my brain is going directly to omg I am in pain. I am now retraining myself so that I can get back on the bike, in the pool, walk without hip going crazy. Thank you for these insights!!!!!

What I experience with my patients,is they are capable of doing exercises,but they complain about their persistent pain and flare ups.If I say it's ok to feel pain,most of the time they dont believe me and they are looking for a quick fix.That is the dilemma what we have with most of our patients.

If u want this thing to take off u need less adds bro. Also sponsors that u read out are less annoying still.

KZbin places them. We can go in and check where. However there’s a lot more places one could listen to add free 😀

@@Physiotutors NO the number of ads, not where they are. It's a setting on your account. You might want to have a good long think about why u have 450K subs but only 5K views
@user-zy1sq3cg9m2 жыл бұрын
@@zebady999 I would argue that they have so many subs because they have a wide range of techniques, injuries which they cover, this, in turn, means that when a useful nugget of information is found by an individual which they have found to be extremely helpful they then subscribe. However, these podcasts are long so each of these individuals may not listen to these long videos or even watch every one of their videos. Without ads, these channels in many instances would not exist so just deal with it. You are getting to watch the content for free so stop moaning.
