I subscribed to the Musiah course for a year and found it to be an incredibly valuable learning tool. To me, the gem was the practice area. It lets you control all aspects of practicing a piece (tempo, left/right/both hand(s), which measures, backing tracks, song demo capability, and most importantly it gives you instant feedback on your note/timing accuracy since it's monitoring the midi channel as you play. It looks like the new features are expanding on that, which is great. I would consider re-subscribing just for the practice area, however the capability to import my own music would need to be added. It even seems like the practice-area tool, linked to 3rd party music libraries (and/or the capability to import your own music), could be a viable stand-alone product (provided the issues around music copyright/licensing, etc. could be worked out).

Thanks so much for your kind feedback. Currently, the main issue with importing one's own songs is that there is a high likelihood of display issues stemming from the way the source files are formatted. This raises the question of how best to attempt to address this, e.g. by providing sheet music editing functions to our customers(?) Challenging stuff logistically. On the copyright side, as long as the customer is importing the song (not us), it shouldn't be a problem. Where it gets tricky is if we were to start sharing copyrighted songs. Anyhow, all things may become possible in time. We will continue to move forward gradually. Many thanks once again for sharing.
