Trevor, I've always had a great respect for guys who can play upsidedown. It's original, it's being yourself and I admire that. I've been thinking about getting an O-18 for the last few months and this video pushed me over the edge. Thank you sir!

A good luthier is invaluable. I took my 1967 00-18 in for a crack I caused and he found three other items for repair and did a setup. If you're in Ventura take your guitar to Guitar 48

This guitar sounds absolutely beautiful! Excellent playing on this demo. I have a 00-18 from 1956. You can't beat these 50's 00-18's! they sound MUCH bigger and better than the size would indicate. Made in the old factory with hide glue, the 60+ year old wood sounds amazing!

.. woudn't send mine to that luthier! Looks like they went too far with the saddle. Then I noticed the buzz when played specially on the treble side

Aside from the never ending advertisement, using ivory, and the arrogance and pomposity of the presentation..... I guess I am not a "Martin Guy" in spite of having owned 15 Martin Guitars since 1961. The first was a 1939 00-17. Among my current inventory of guitars, I own a 2015 00-18Vwith flamed mahogany backs and sides, and a (one of 370) 0000-1 from 1997. None of my guitar are "couch" guitars.
