After visiting the mausoleum (July 22, 2023) we had a snack at a neat outside diner on the way home...
The younger kids still do not know yet (at the time of this recording) about their father having passed away at the hospital. I was waiting for them to get clues at the mausoleum and start asking questions, but they didn't. The oldest three boys already know, and now all the kids know.
Recently my husband of 20 years and biological father of our 8 children suddenly passed away (on July 16, 2023). Adjusting to the sudden trauma and shock has been the hardest thing we have had to go through in our entire lives! Our 8 children spent their whole lives having their father by their side at home, guiding them. Now this grave loss has caused a ripple affect not only in our daily lives, but financially, as well as emotionally, and a great looming uncertainty.
On the kind advice of some viewers I set up a Patreon account one week after posting my first video on grief. If you feel so inclined to contribute $2.00 I seriously thank you from the bottom of all our hearts! (You do not have to donate to become a Patreon member.)

I am expressing my grief through KZbin. Some people don't understand (and that is fine, everyone is different.) this is how I deal with it. I have already talked to the older boys 2 months ago about it and they understand and are now fine. Thank you so much to those for your understanding. These trolls are bullies. Sometimes it gets me down, I don't have a heart made of stone. That is why kind people like you mean so much to me, it balances all the hate I get. They love to hate, so they will always find something to hate me for.

You’re a beautiful soul. You certainly don’t deserve it. People are miserable in their own lives and it makes them feel better to lash out. They tell everyone else they need “help” when they’re the ones who need it most. The saddest part is they’re likely teaching their kids to be bullies. You are a terrific mom. Sending you lots of love and support, sweetie❤❤❤

Many people just want to see you and your kids flourishing, or getting help you/they may need to navigate their grief. Rosalie, trust me on this, KZbin may be an outlet, but don’t count on it making you feel better overall after reading all the comments. People can be harsh, that’s why I hope you and your older kids get professional help to navigate through this difficult time too. Online hate on its own can make a lot of people need to seek therapy or outside help, but coupled with the tragedy you and your family are facing, that’s a lot.. a lot for anyone, but maybe quadrupled adding the opinions of others to dwell upon before going to sleep.

We aren’t all heartless. Some of us just care and see people who truly are suffering through something some of us can only imagine.. I know it’s all very real for all of you. Put your mental health first, please. If you need to step away from KZbin, I promise people will still be here when you come back.

There are actually videos by other creators that explain how to deal with trolls. You're smart enough to be able to tell the difference between well-meaning advice and criticism from people who truly care about you and your children, and the hateful people who take pleasure from critizing every little aspect of your videos and try to demean you and make you feel like the most horrible mother and person that ever lived. Every KZbin creator has to deal with trolls, but you've been giving them free rein and if you don't take control of your channel soon they're going to destroy it. You have every right to delete comments and block anyone you choose. A lot of the comments are legitimate concerns and people with good intentions trying to give well-meaning advice, but you also have more truly hateful trolls than I've ever seen on a channel before. May God Bless you and your children. If you decide to continue with your channel I would advise you to discuss with your older children how they feel about being on camera and respect their wishes if they choose not to be in your videos. Be aware that no matter how hard you try there are going to be those who are just looking for something to pounce on. Do your editing carefully because these heartless, miserable souls are going to expect you to be Supermom. Stay strong, Rosalie. It's obvious how much you love your children and I, and I'm sure many others are wishing you nothing but the best.❤🙏💕

@@Beverly502 you've made over a hundred comments on her channel. How many of them do you think have been positive, supportive, or encouraging? Not too many that I've noticed. You love to remind her how "deceived " you felt. If I was her you would be one of the first people I would block. Hopefully your passive-aggressiveness isn't fooling her.

I can see the burden and sadness on the faces of the older kids. I really hope that they can have time for themselves to have fun. I am the oldest in a big family and I was always co-parenting. I hope they know it is not their responsibility to help raise the family. (However, of course they should help) I think the mausoleum was a beautiful choice and will provide nice, memorial outings for the children to remember their Dad.🙏🙏

I see so much i could talk about but i at this moment want to talk about two things. #1: You have such beautiful and precious kids PLEASE even though you may not understand fully how to do this parenting on your own ,YOU DO need to allow these children to Bath/shower Hygiene is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT ESPECIALLY FOR THESE GIRLS. #2: Im sorry but there is nothing nutritional about just having fries for dinner, Such a tiny amount for children that clearly are hungry 😔. Even though you feel life is too hard right now you MUST properly provide them with whats absolutely needed and IMPORTANT! this is a hard time for you all but there is no excuse in the world to neglect your children from being (healthy) and you being a MOTHER! IT IS YOUR JOB for life . I pray you do better because i know you can.

@tanyat4779 KZbin content makers comes with comments, it's part of the territory. And EVERYONE knows that means you're going to get criticism like it or not. When you are making money, especially exploiting your children people are going to have an opinion. What's worse is her kids are old enough to read the comments and she would be totally in la la land if she didn't know there would be critical even mean comments and yet she posts the videos anyway. She said the older kids go to high school, can you imagine the amount of teasing they're going to endure at school? Nasty feet videos and the mothers odd behavior? And she posts it anyway all for $$$. So excuse me if you don't see why so many people are critical. Those poor kids, she needs to get a clue and stop being so selfish

@tanyat4779 I'm not excusing anyone's behavior, what I'm saying is this isn't new, people criticize and some get really nasty. The fact she chooses to post these videos anyway is what's disturbing. There's no way she doesn't know the backlash, and if she didn't in the beginning she does now after having subscribers call the police and CPS on her. And yet she's still filming! Can you imagine the kids that go to school what things get said to them? Right or wrong she opened herself and her children to it and continues to film and exploit those kids for money. Sorry no sympathy from me, not for her anyway. And that poor baby who has to grow up with the name Aryan as in Aryan nation. Did she think for 2 minutes how that affect him? Spare me the dramatics, she's doing this to herself and others. Not to mention how ignorant it is to film strangers in public without their permission, just selfish

She filmed them while they are grieving, and the oldest kids expressed discomfort about being filmed and she invalidated their feelings. That’s not turning it into a better memory for them . That’s called, making money on their grief and exploiting them in a very vulnerable state. If a child expresses discomfort while being filmed, the right thing to do is to turn the camera off. That’s what a good parent would do. Actually a good parent wouldn’t film this at all, nor would they post it on the Internet. Grief is a private thing not to be shared with strangers on the Internet for clicks, views, subscribers, and $$$. Those of you defending her and protecting her have a serious issue because you can’t see how wrong, disgusting, disturbing, gross, and violating this is. Stick up for the kids not the mother. These kids don’t have a chance. The kids are the real victims, because they didn’t have to be born into this type of lifestyle. They didn’t ask to have to deal with this sort of stuff, and they certainly didn’t ask for their lives to be shared on the Internet. She needs to get off KZbin and raise her children. This is not it. The kids are the innocent ones not her. This isn’t hate, bullying, or anything of the sort. This is the truth. The kids deserve to be in homes were they are the priority and where they won’t be exploited.

What a beautiful mausoleum 🕊️. I remember all too clearly when my husband suddenly died, having to tell my 6 year old daughter. It took me a day because I was struggling with how to tell her that her daddy is in heaven without feeling I’d be the one to break her heart. I realized that there’s no good time to break such a loss. The sooner you tell the younger children, the better. Small children are especially resilient. The initial reaction from my daughter was pure grief and crying and I’ll never erase that memory but she’s in her 20s now and throughout the years prior, we grieved as a family in order to move forward the best we could. We are forever bonded by a love we continue to share with each other from the loss of our loved one. It’s important and necessary for the little ones to process loss in order for them as well to move forward. 🕊️🍁🌿🍂🕊️

Your kids don’t need to be told or reminded to stay with their family. They are just the cutest, well behaved, and respectful kids. Rosalie you have done an amazing job honey, someday you should take a day to yourself. Maybe a spa day or something😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

What a ridiculous throw away comment. "Incredibly rare for families that have more than one or two children to be able to control them?" Control them? Children are not wild animals nor do they need to be or should be controlled. They need love, nurture, guidance, safety and security and freedom to be themselves. Even if these kids ran around etc it doesn't make them out of control. It makes them kids and yes families with only one or two kids also have them run amok.

@@sharonhoward884plus it's quite obvious that the children are dirty, malnourished and majorly lack proper education. I can't understand people supporting this, when the neglect is so obvious. Yes, this mother is in a very tough spot, but that doesn't mean one should turn a blind eye on child neglect which clearly existed even before the husband died.

I am a mom of 6 and an early childhood teacher, with a psychology degree. I am not a troll. There is plenty to be concerned about here. The kids' comfort and emotions are being trampled all over. They are CLEARLY not happy being video'd. What a traumatic time to not respect their feelings when they've just lost dad. They all exhibit a flat affect which is very concerning and breaks my heart. It's not just a normal thing after a death for every single child in a family to exhibit this. The flat affect was likely developed pre-dad's-death and is often mistaken as " the kids are well behaved". The side talk of dad's death arrangements knowing the younger kids hadn't been openly told is not normal, almost a testing behavior. The kids are smarter than given credit for. Baby doesn't try to make eye contact. The older one walks quickly away when mom mentions being relieved. It appears he knows better than to openly express his feelings because clearly his feelings about being filmed (and who knows what else) have not been regarded. Please please get some family counseling or a child psychologist. I wish every single person shown here the highest degree of healing. This is a very complex situation. It makes me very sad for all of them.

I have been a mom for 31 years, 4 kids. I too have a degree in psychology, another in human services and diploma in social work. Your assessment based on this one video is both misleading and unprofessional. Flat affect?? Sorry. Don’t see it. Of course some may not exhibit emotion--they’re grieving and processing. And you know nothing of their emotions nor of their behaviours prior to the passing of their father. I do not think you are a troll, however your comment is very unprofessional and CLEARLY you lack understanding and background. We all do. We do not know this family. We have seen snippets of their lives. How you came up with your pseudo assessment based on that is beyond me.

@@tanyat4779With all due respect, it is glaringly obvious and i find it disturbing that you DON’T see it. Before I had read a single comment I was telling my mother that they are very flat, and the baby’s lack of animation, lack of trying to engage is most disturbing. No food or drinks for baby in all of that time, either. And just french fries for a meal? No one should ever be demonized for caring about and being concerned for the welfare of children. Too often red flags are overlooked, and there have been too many admitted lies and red flags from this mom. Lies about her husbands death, in an effort to manipulate us.

If you think this is a good solution to your immediate problems you are delusional. I would never do this to my children. Your children are already vulnerable. Grifting them on KZbin is not the solution you think it is. Be aware of the long term psychological dangers you are exposing them to by doing this, and the more immediate physical ones. Understand the audience for children of family vloggers. Anyone who understands this properly wouldn’t even consider using their kids in this way. @@TheTuesday11 she said over and over in the comments that it turned out to be a snack. And I'll take a seat when I'm damn well ready, not when some hateful, judgemental troll behind a keypad tells me to.

@@TheTuesday11one of the kids also asked for a drink , she told him they would go to 7-11 afterwards . Who eats without something to drink outside in the summer ? The baby in the stroller didn’t have anything. If the water bottles were being shared , that’s disgusting, only saw 2 . The mother is blabbing constantly about old vehicles yet not one child is paying attention or answering anything she is saying . The one child eats his own food alone . Just very bizarre behavior of each one . The little ones have bad speech skills. This woman is clearly a tragedy pimp only on YTUbe to make money by exploiting her children , even during the death of their father. What mother would do this to their children?

@@Rnnurse2023not a good mother. But yet we can’t criticize her because she’s grieving. Give me a break. All those kids have issues that need to be taken care of and the fact that she has people defending how she’s raising them or I should say not raising them because she isn’t raising them at all says quite a bit. 12 fries is not dinner, and the baby not getting anything it’s why he literally bites through plastic and why he grabs it any bit of food he can get us little hands on and why he cried when she took food away from him not in this video, but others. All that money on a stupid mausoleum for a body that no longer exists could’ve been used to buy nutritious meals for the kids. All the kids need to be put in Home for their needs will be prioritized. She’s not even doing the bare minimum.

It’s kind of funny that you take off the ends of the French fry for a kid, and I take off the ends for my cat. I don’t give her too many but it’s so funny. And I love your whole family. ❤🙏🏻🐾

That must have been so difficult for you all. I know how hard it can be. I'm so happy to see you doing well. I imagine 8 children keeps you busy. Now you should go get your license and regain your independence. Best wishes to you all. They used to have classic car show at the Seaway every Fiday night. Dont know if they still do. And dang, that poutine looked amazing!!! Nom,nom!

You made me laugh. Thank you, I do want to get my license. The problem I face is it takes years where I live to get a full license. I will need lots of practice and can only have the person teaching me in the vehicle. Best wishes to you too!

It does not take years in Ontario, Canada to get your license as an adult. Hogwash!!

@jackiehowell1453 it doesn't matter what age you are, you still have to go through the graduated program. You have your G1 for 1 yr then you can drive on your own with restrictions which is G2. And then within 5 yrs of getting your G1, you have to do your final road test to aquire your full license, so yes it does take years. Yes you can drive alone after 1 but if you know anything about booking your road test in Ontario, it can take months to get a date. I don't think this should deter anyone from getting one though.

@@Terrorific_tray I am referring to a drivers license. Are you referring to social work? In order to become a social worker in any pro ince of Canada, you require a Degree. I have a degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland. This Mom went to what she refers to as College. The term college in Canada is not the same as US. You receive diomas in College and they are most often (not akways) private institutions. In order to work in the social work field in Canada, you must do at least one year of university studies including specific electives and then apply to a social work program and get accepted. After acceptance into the program it takes 4 years to get your basic degree in social work. This Mom is located in Ontario and there are fantastic sw programs which she can avail. Meanwhile, she has 6 young children to raise making this very challenging.

Why do people in this comment section think that grieving means you will not have an appetite? Grieving people still need to eat and grief typically comes and goes. By the way, the older kids seem terribly depressed to me, and not just in a grieving sort of way.
