Funny what you said about having all the extra space and coping with it. Haha. Same when my husband and I moved to our first apartment on our own. We got so used to living with family and being so cramped and sharing space, that having a whole space to ourselves was kind of unreal. Can't wait to continue decorating it and making it our own.

With your handstands try this. Stand with your back to the wall. Put your hands on the ground about a foot and a half away from the wall and then walk your feet up the wall. Then, in handstand (with your feet on the wall) walk your hands towards the wall so you are essentially doing a handstand against the wall but the other way around. This helps with practising the shape of the handstand instead of arching as you are doing. It may also allow you to hold the handstand longer x

Oh so excited that you’re moving soon! We just moved from a 2 bed apartment with no washer and dryer, huge living room (that doubled as my husband’s office) and huge dining room... but small everything else, and 1 bathroom. We stayed there way way way too long because our plans kept changing. Fast forward, we just moved into a beautiful home with three bedrooms (one being an office for hubby), huge master bedroom with master bath and closet, laundry room, and two car garage - we feel AMAZING with all the space we have now!! I know exactly how you’re going to feel when transitioning from your small house to something more spacious and fitting for your family’s size. So so so excited and happy for you- you’ve been so patient with such little space!

Find something like solid and approximately elbow height and kick up to handstand with your inside forearms pressed against the mat/box/item. This helps balance but with most of your body unsupported you can work on the stabilizers and actual muscles to help improve. 🙂

if your having trouble doing hand stands and balancing, try pointing your toes as you lift off the ground and keep them pointed in the air, i don't know why this works but it helps so much

Hi Sarah! I noticed you have a little anterior pelvis tilt problem when you are standing, it is very common for mamas especially a mama who has 3 kids like you. Just wanna remind you that you can correct it by standing and sitting with your pelvis leaned back a bit. With some exercise it will recover after a few months. Wish you all the best!

Hey, love your videos! I am a Christ centered yoga teacher and I wanted to give you a couple of suggestions for your hand stand. First, tuck your tail bone under to elongate the spine and engage the core more to help support your body and fix your center of gravity for more stability. Second, when you come out of a handstand, or any inversion, go straight into child's pose for a few breaths to ground your body, especially your head. It should help with the weird headache feeling you are experiencing after your practice. Lastly, move your head between your shoulders, instead of a little bit in front while, while still keeping your gaze toward the floor just like you are already doing. Y'all (I am from Texas haha) are looking good though! Keep it up!!!

I know you were a dancer so you probably already know this. but I thought I’d give some handstand tips from a previous gymnast😂 make sure you’re tucking you’re chin to your chest and not looking at the ground, that helps you to engage the core muscles. That was always the hardest part for me because I wanted to touch my hands but once I tucked my chin I could do handstand so much better/more stable!
