come with me as I go pick up my groceries from the air taxi! Port Alsworth is a remote alaskan village that is 160 miles away from the nearest store, so everything has to be flown in. yes, everything. I made a large order about once every three months, or I go in and do it myself. but when the airplane comes in with the freight, it feels like Christmas.
like always, please give this video a thumbs up, subscribe and find me on Instagram and TikTok! Im still taking a few days away from TikTok, but I'll be back soon :)

You should look into a Soda Stream to make your own flavored waters. Just have to replace the CO2 canister occasionally.

Hey, i saw your videos on tik tok and became obsessed! Thank you for showing an insight into your life, your home and the Alaskan wilderness. Its a world away from where I live in England and I really think it's one of the best things about social media, a tiny peak into a whole different world. Also I hope your drinks are still lasting!

Hi Salina! I read your piece on the Insider about your groceries. My 11 year old son and I were fascinated and so have watched a few videos of yours on KZbin since. Your hair is lovely! So shiny and smooth- good for you for getting it so nice! The question I have for you is have you considered using Soda Stream instead of canned seltzer? It will be so much cheaper to transport the machine one time and then a small canister for the carbonation once every three months. One canister lasts for about 45 8 oz cups of seltzer. Then you can buy flavors to add or powdered drink mixes or just drink plain seltzer or just add a little fruit when you have it. It will save you so much money on transporting water from Anchorage. If you have not considered, I can help you do a deeper cost benefit analysis. If you have considered and decided not to get, please let me know why- I am DYING to know. Target carries Soda Stream, the drops for flavors and the refill canisters. I am guessing Target does in Alaska also but I do not know. Most main stream grocery stores have them. I am a frugal shopper. So things like this make me wonder! LOL. You are doing great living out in the wilderness and shooting these videos. So great to see someone your age being industrious and hard working, planning, making it work! Do you have a background piece I can read or watch? Like that answers how you came to live there, what you do there, etc? Hugs from Washington DC! SS

It is great to see you become active on youtube, and I really think you will gain a lot of subscribers here aswell. If you want any tips for growing on youtube, or mainly getting more views. There is videous out here that can help you with that. I see this video doesn't have any hash-tags, so I recommend putting in some for help with search. I just saw on your latest TikTok live that you will take a break from that platform, and I totally understand because TikTok is full of trolls/haters.

Ok who are the ears from. You said "you know who the ears are" but I dont! Ug! Maybe I'm a dummy but its driving me nuts idk lol. But those ears are MUCH better than you get at Disney. I wish I had seen these before my mom passed. She was an uber disney nerd/nut.
