Picking Up Some Free Pallets

I'm with you! A lot of people preach the "reduce; reuse; recycle mantra, but they don't "practice what they preach" . I have been blessed to find the occasional hand tool lying on the street while riding my bicycle. I also reused 2 litre soda bottle as a large use funnel. Little things like that add up to a big savings after a while☺.

Eventually, when we're established on our homestead, I hope to reduce, reuse, and recycle even more. I hope that we can get to a point where we are producing as close to zero trash as possible. I have some ideas in mind for how to get there, but it's going to take a while.

Yeah, there was some good stuff. I found things that I didn't expect. I thought it was just going to be pallets, but the pre-made wall panels and OSB were nice surprises.

Look for any place that manufactures, distributes, or sells hot tubs/spas. They have an abundance of large pallets. I found a couple of places in Reno that have these big ones. I've also found a few places closer to home that have regular-sized pallets.
