Поэтический Канал Тишкина Григория That’s either a scam or an MLM... And imma pass on both. I prefer healthy weight loss with realistic calorie cuts, portions and exercise regiments. I don’t think diet pills or a “wonder drink!” is going to properly help with maintaining a healthy weight unless it’s an essential vitamin that a person lacks. But, even vitamin supplements aren’t truly recommended because the testing isn’t as regulated as medicine. Stop pushing your scam or MLM on people who are truly trying to better their life with a HEALTHY weight loss plan.

I am going to keep it real with you guys. No shame in here. The heaviest I've been was 115kg. As a black guy, no one really tells you that, hey man, you may wanna cut back or something like that. You may receive some fat jokes here and there, but you don't really get, like a real sit down moment, to be told about the repercussions of your health. So, I lived most of my life thinking I was completely okay until I found myself in a position where I didn't feel comfortable taking pictures anymore. This was after I saw a picture of myself with my brothers that are older than me, but in the picture, they looked like they could be my nephews or sons. This wasn’t anyone’s fault. I brought this onto myself and I had no one to blame, but myself. Yet I felt so mad at the world, at anyone who walked with their shirt off at a pool party, at the girls my age that called me sir and at my mom for the most time. I felt like she had the power to tell me to stop eating and she did not. The truth is there was nothing anyone could have done to help me. I ate at odd hours of the night, I spent my days sleeping, I had a snack every time my mouth felt like I needed something to chew, not because I was hungry and my meals had so much sugar if they were to test my blood those days it was going to be sweet. So, I tried exercising, but we all know how that goes. you can only be serious with it for maybe a week if you are strong enough. I did not really start breaking through until I discovered this book” gum.co/EatHealthyAndFeelEnergetic “. It sort of gave me a perspective of how I was going about it all wrong. Basically, you have to eat right to have the energy to even start exercising to lose weight. The key is in eating the right foods and knowing when to and when not to eat the heavy foods. Not going on unnecessary diets that starve you. Which then makes you eat twice as much when you finally get real food. The book above helped me to the point where i lost a shocking 30kg. I can't even wear anything I used to wear before the weight loss. I can go an entire night without waking up for food now. I can run for at least 5km without feeling like am going to die. I can feel good being around other people knowing that am not the topic. I have real confidence in myself now. Instead of wearing a thick skin, I used to put on, to brushing off every fat joke, yet dying inside. Thank you for reading my story I hope the book works for you as well dear reader.

As a dietitian, what's your take on "intermittent fasting". Studies show that fasting every now and then it's actually good for the body. I think if it's done adequately it can be something that can be added to a healthy lifestyle.

I agree my weight got back to control after intermittent fasting, I think I was never big on (or ate) breakfast when I was in teens. But I listened to what people were saying about not skipping breakfast, and started having breakfast and each year kept on gaining. Now stopped having a morning meal and went back to having “break-fast” at noon (aka lunch) when I genuinely hungry. It has helped greatly with my endometriosis pain. Now I just try to make my first meal something healthy and light.

For many women, including myself, intermittent fasting messes up with your hormones and can cause amenorrhea. Everyone is different of course but this is a factor to think about if you are a women. Im pretty sure your body enters ketosis when you restrict carbohydrates so your body changes from breaking down glycogen from sugar and instead uses triglycerides for glycolysis. So restricting calorie intake alone won't necessarily mean you enter ketosis. (I'm a med student)
@DrMannuVerma6 жыл бұрын
Well...answering as a medical student myself ...quoting on Harpers...there are 3 determinants to our body entering ketosis...one of which is the ratio of ADP/ATP So calorie restriction...eventually will lead to decreased ATP and hence ketosis.
@jessicarose19916 жыл бұрын
Right, calorie restriction can cause ketosis; however, consuming less carbohydrates also allows the body to enter ketosis, and recent research shows that cutting back on carbs has a laundry list of health benefits. So I do take issue with her making ketosis seem like a negative occurrence based solely on calorie restriction because it’s factually incorrect.

@@mstash164 😂😂😂😂 But don't you know that every dietitian and nutritionist is bought out by the food industry?!?! That's why, despite that theres no long term studies on using the keto diet to lose weight, everyone else is wrong for even thinking of questioning its effects. Sorry, your comment on trusting the dietitian cracked me up. In the day and age of youtube and instagram, I can't get over the amount of people who are like, yeah I'll trust the 20 year old on Instagram over the doctor who went to medical school. It's not to say that there aren't crappy people in the health industry or that just because you DON'T have a medical degree or any educational background in health/medicine that you have nothing to offer, but the sheer amount of people who just blatantly disregard people who have studied these things and have dedicated their life to these fields just because they say one thing you disagree with, is mind boggling.

I don't agree with the calorie resctriction part. It depends on how much you're restricting. Of course if you're eating 800 calories a day you're not gonna be healthy, you'll slow down your metabolism and you'll risk developing a binging problem or some other sort of eating disorder, but you should really differentiate between over-restricting and just creating a deficit of 100-200 calories under your TDEE, which is perfectly healthy and an effective way to lose weight. Also restricting calories doesn't trigger ketosis, restricting your carb intake does, because your body doesn't have glycogen to break down and consequently starts using fat for energy.
@zoie40004 жыл бұрын
idk man.. I think she's talking to most dieters who restrict too much. In general... restrict is not a good word. Reducing calories can be helpful but, if you're reading bad unhealthy stuff or even healthy stuff from bad sources it won't help you.

zoie4000 the only way to lose weight is reducing your calorie intake or burning more calories than you take in, no other way people are ignorant about it. It also depends on the Macronutrients you can’t just eat less calories, protein and carbs needs to be a big chunk of the calories you take in unless ur doing a high fat diet

@@judemarino8914 yeah, like a few hundred calorie deficit and thats all you need. There is no other way to loose weight. Obviously severe restriction is not good and will damage your motabolism and your overall health but were not on about starvation or sever restriction. but generally the calories you need to cut can be fone wich changing what you eat (changing your snacks from crisps to fruit, only having takeout once every couple of weeks, more veg on you plate to fill you up and less fats/carbs (you need carbs to survive of course and no carb diets are not healthy). These examples are all lifestyle changes not crash diets and will generally help in the long run. Ive met so many people thinking a ten minute exercise every day will help them loose weight but they eat food after to compensate, overeastermating how many calories theyve burned. Ive also seen so many people saying you need to starve, truth is just a couple hundred calories a day deficit and youre good.

i like how professional your videos are but be careful with the calorie restrcition thing....yes: an extreme caloric deficit will harm your metabolism and body but the only way to lose weight is by eating less calories than what you are burning!!! there is no other way. so if you declare calorie restriction as really bad some people might get a wrong idea that they will lose weight just by eating lots of healthy foods...in the end it's always about a caloric deficit... i'm sure you know that but be careful expressing yourself because people who don't know better might get wrong ideas of the difference between loosing weight in a healthy way and just eating healthy without losing!!!

well if you "eat normal" within your maintainance calories (the amount of calories your body needs to properly function and be healthy) and not above that (so basically you are at 0 when it comes to how much energy you burn and how much you take in) you will hold your weight! (but that doesn't mean you need to burn e.g. 2000 calories with exercise when you eat 2000! your body has a basic metabolic rate (=the least amount it needs) and then you add the calories you burn in a day from exercise and also just going along your day (standing, sitting etc.) and that's your maintainance level

Top 7 mistakes that can make you fatter without you even knowing! 1. When you mistakenly assume that something ‘healthy’ can be eaten with abandon regularly. This is something I am weakened by. Take nuts for instance. They are a powerhouse of nutrition, yet when eaten in excess, can and does cause weight gain, as well as digestive issues. What about fruits and certain smoothies? These contain natural sugars yes, but when eaten in excessive amounts can cause negative responses in some people. Same with protein bars and powders. Use the nutritional guidelines on the labels, read them carefully, and consume the serving suggestion. Better yet, less is more . If you feel hungry a short time after you consume this food, just eat again. 2. Impatience kills any results. When you start dieting, things don’t automatically happen for you, or for anyone. Calorie deficit is something that has an accumulative effect over time. Sure, you can take fat burners.. if you don’t mind burning your liver as well! Stay consistent, driven and keenly passionate towards achieving the results you want. We are all feeling your pain! 3. Not drinking enough water. I know of many people who live on 500ml of water. This is what I guzzle down in 5 seconds, not a whole 24 hours! People are extremely dehydrated, and often mistaking it for hunger! Big mistake. Aim for 3 litre of water a day. Buy a large bottle that you can carry around, or sits on your desk at work. That will remind you how much water you have to drink, and encourage you to keep drinking. Start now, and work your way up to the 1-2 litre mark, then 3. 4. Refusing to consume food groups because of the flavour, texture etc. Now, I’m going to test most people here, as I know a lot of you probably don’t favour vegetables, and are likely to eat slabs of meat alone (probably with carbs too). All you need to do is give veggies a try, and allow your taste buds to become accustomed to the flavours. They are powerhouses of nutritional goodness, and can do wonders for your health, body composition and longevity! Slabs of meat with carbs just wont cut it long term. Protein only diets are not idea at all. Add 1/2 a plate of veggies with your protein! 5. Ignoring food allergies, gut sensitivities and eating the culprit foods anyway. This is a huge no no. Please, do not do this to your immune and nervous system. I did this for years, and feel that my gut is giving me some payback from all the torment I put it through. Living your life sick, lethargic and depressed is a waste of your time on this wonderful planet. If it makes you feel awful, just don’t eat it. The recovery time and damage afterwards is not worth it. 6. Constantly restricting calorie intake with less food, even though this does not work. The trick weight loss is calorie deficit, not lack of food. This is on the border of starvation which freaks your body out, and it stops letting go of your fat reserves, saving them up for future starvation periods. If eating less works better for you, try intermittent fasting. If you want to lead a more normal life, restrict calories by consuming foods with a low caloric rating. Things like seafood, chicken breast, eggs, broccoli, green veggies and lettuce. This is how you feed your body well, train hard ad loose body fat, while keeping it off long term. 7. Believing that there is a magic bullet for success. No matter how much you and I want this, there is no one pill, one formula, one method or one guru that can make this all happen instantly. Give yourself plenty of time to lose weight properly, and don’t be so hard on yourself when it takes time. All of this is part of the normal process with weight loss. Email me to maspardinasgor @ gmail . com if you wanna know the secret how i get out from weight rollercoaster. Have a blessed day, Xoxo

Rewatching this 💚 I started journaling what I eat in a day. It made me realise I was mindlessly drinking loads of soda. I swapped it for squash (diluted juice) so I’m drinking loads more water but I don’t get bored of drinking it coz it has a subtle berry flavour. 💜 I’ve also started meal prepping (quarantine life) seeing as the food is already made I will eat it. where as when I would cook daily I would get super lazy. I don’t have a scale and I don’t care about weight, but I took a before and after photo and was so happy to see my stomach went down in size. I feel a lot more confident personally in my own body 😊 and have more energy now. I’ve also been 95% vegan for about 4 months and loving it 🧡

Eat healthy fat whole food from plants, one avocado for the day, or 2 oz of nuts and use no oil for a while. Eat veggies and Fruit, with balsamic vinegar for flavoring, no butter it's all saturated fat. Do a celery juice in the morning before you eat or drink it cleanse out the fat in liver and blood. hope this helps

I've seen this touched on in the comments already, and I think people have brought up the valid point that there is a difference between unsustainable calorie restriction versus maintaining a sustainable caloric deficit. It's unsustainable to live off of
@iisuperstarii73107 жыл бұрын
Really love the info and look of this whole video, but I do have one question for basically anyone that can answer it. What is wrong with 01:59 ? Restricting calories is a vital part of any weight loss program. More calories out than in = losing fat. Which is what weight loss is about. Being healthy is very good for a lifestyle you can sustain, but the most important thing for weight loss is still the calories. If I eat a bunch of junk food but still create a calorie deficit of 500-1000 calories a day, I would technically still lose weight. I just would be putting my body through an unhealthy diet. And I would probably not be able to keep it up for very long. If on the other hand I eat only healthy foods and drink water, but I'd eat 1000 calories more than I expend, I'd still be gaining weight. No matter how healthy the food may be, I won't be losing fat just from eating it. So basically I get that to maintain a diet long enough for it to have actual results it would be useful to have a healthy diet that doesn't cut back on too many calories. But I definitely wouldn't say that restricting calories is a "weight loss mistake". Because it's not like you can just decide to eat whatever you want and make up for it in the gym. You can't outrun your fork. You have to have a calorie restriction to lose weight. Could someone explain what is meant by 3? Because to me it just doesn't make sense. Was it perhaps that she meant to say carbs instead of calories (since she talked about ketosis)?
@OtterTich7 жыл бұрын
From my point of view, I see calories restricting as a "bad starting point". It gives an illusion of conscious control but it actually affects the mental well-being and our metabolism. I've seen and heard of people who restrict their calories actually becoming "scared" of food. Instead of eating enough of healthy food, they will need to be careful about every single food they are eating (maybe I'm exaggerating, but you get the picture ^^). So restricting calories, in fact, creates a negative relationship with food, which causes stress, that can lead to craving, and binging, and guilt etc. Restrictions that work for weight loss are carbs restriction and processed food restrictions, I dare say.
@mercedesrasche11587 жыл бұрын
IIsuperstarII restricting is like not letting yourself eat bc you want to lose weight as where lifestyle changes are swapping bad things for lower calorie foods instead overall lowering your calories. the problem with restricting is youre hungry so you either binge eat later or youre fucking up your metabolism. i think this is what she means at least hope i helped
@bloop17387 жыл бұрын
Restricting callories is only bad if you then binge after. You binge because your body thinks you'll never eat again its a part of the starvation process. You then crave a lot of carbs and calories in general. If you know you'll eat again then avoid overeating, just dont listen to your body and youll be fine. After 3 times of doing this your brain will stop telling you you're hungry. She talks about ketosis but not what being in a ketosis state actually means. Its actually really healthy. Your body attacks your fat but you need to eat again before it attacks your muscle. Thats why skipping breakfast is good for you. Telling people to just avoid it all together is such a bad suggestion I question her credentials. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" was literally made by you guessed it.. Mr.Kellogg. Yes the person behind the brand who sells cereal.
@bloop17387 жыл бұрын
The reason it can be unhealthy is because people are misinformed about how the ketosis process works. So an inteligent person would then tell the public how ketosis works so they use it correctly and see improvement. What she has instead done in the video is pointout what everyone does wrong and used that as a reason to dismiss the whole thing. If you educate people they can properly use the tool. It's like she wants people to stay stupid or something. If someone can't ride a bike you don't tell them bike's are bad for you and that's why you fell, you just teach them how to ride. Only when they can't hadle riding a bike *properly* do you suggest they don't do it.

Venus The keto diet doesn’t necessarily cut calories. It cuts carbohydrates. If you make up for the carbohydrates you’re cutting by getting more of another food group in calories, then you’re not restricting calories. It’s basic math.

Hi Sadia, what do you think about intermitting fasting? I see that you recommend having breakfast, but I've also seen a lot of studies stating that skipping breakfast is actually better for hunger control. It certainly works for me, since I'm never hungry in the morning. If I force myself to eat, then I'll eat more throughout the day.

@@sonam9240 It’s not very necessary. There’s something to be said for eating when you’re actually hungry. It’s a natural skill that children have that we lose as adults due to poor conditioning. I like your videos, but please note that Paleo does not equal calorie restricted by any means. I eat mostly Paleo and have been for 1 year. I have never felt healthier inside and out. My mental clarity and energy also improved with a Paleo lifestyle. Paleo limits grains, but in exchange you eat protein, veggies, and healthy fats (which as you know are more calories per gram than protein and carbs). This diet is satiating and I probably eat more calories than I used to, but I have lost all my baby weight.
