Mamma Dolly laid in the pee so that she could mask his scent from predators. I've seen donkeys out here on the ranch do the same thing...especially when the coyotes are running. Good mamma Dolly...but stinky😅

Donkeys and Mules are very smart. They are also very protective. My Aunts Boyfriend packs with them and they will easily kill a coyote or wolf. They are very cool in my opinion
