I got mine and this blows my NuFace out of the water! I never felt it in my teeth like some people complain about with their NuFace. With this one, I’m going to have to wear my invisaline retainer on my left side because I do get zingers there! And forget about using any higher than the 15 level on my forehead! Wowzer! Yes you do use conductivity gel with the probes but not with the gloves-they are silver woven and work just wet 😃💜

I ordered the pico toner the same day you posted this video. 5 days later a received an email saying that my order was being processed and that I will be receiving another email “soon” with tracking the number. So far isn’t been two weeks and I still don’t have a tracking number so I’m guessing the are still processing my order and it’s not been shipped yet 😒. I was hoping to have my first treatments before Christmas. Judging by the time this company takes to process an order I am now hoping to have my first treatment before New Years. I can’t even imagine what would happen if my device gets damaged 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi! 1. Can the picotoner cause fat loss; especially if used on a higher intensity? 3. I’m unsure what intensity to use? Should I be feeling the current in my face more or only moderately. For example; my lips twitch when I’m near the chin area. Is this normal? or am I using a high intensity? I am currently on 45 on my face for P1 and decrease to 25 on my forehead for P1. I am just a regular person, but I bought the NIRA, and it does not do what these micro current devices do. NIRA is a laser. The micro current devices (the true micro devices) are a different animal. I actually use my NIRA primarily on my spider veins on my legs. I am having great results doing that. I first purchased the Myolift Mini-had not even taken the device out of the box and then saw this video. I like the Myolift, but one of the vloggers on skin care said that professionals know you can not get the best results just using 400 - you need 500, or more. The Myolift 600 would work on that front, but not being estheticians, we do not have access to these tools. The good thing about the Myolift Mini is that there are better KZbin follow along-with-me tutorials. For the Pico Toner, Penny just released a great video this week, but it is quick, and only uses the gloves. If you purchase the probes/wands, you really have to do a lot of research to find anyone doing DIY tutorials...and the lady I found is great, but they are all quick little bursts of info, so you have to try and piece it together. Also, if you have skin of someone over 50 years old, you have to hold to a longer count (20, or so) as opposed to a thirty year old that is holding for a count of 10. I hope this helps.

Just water with the gloves. And gloves under the gloves. They do have a glycerin/Himalayan sea salt spray that is excellent as well but just wet gloves works great! 💙

the timer runs for 30 minutes but the microcurrent only runs for 20 minutes. is that right, the last 10 minutes nothing is happening? if so just seems like it could have been better thought out. it could also be rechargeable for the price instead of a battery as most devices are these days (even basic tens units are).

I got HORRIBLE acne from using the Pico Toner. I contacted them and was told it is probably my skincare. I told them I've been using all of my skincare products for over a year without issue (some for years). They said the Pico Toner pushes products into the skin, and I told them I apply my products AFTER. They said in all their testing nobody broke out and suggested I let my skin heal then start again without using the spray as the salt might be too irritating. So I did that and have used it a few times with only water... Already I've gotten multiple whiteheads emerging and I can feel a deep pimple forming on my nose. I don't know what's up with this! I'm wondering if their testing was predominantly done on older women who haven't seen a zit in decades?

It was my understanding that the reason microcurrent works well on the face is because the skin on the face is connected to the muscles beneath. So when the muscles plump, so does the skin. How would this work for other parts of the body?

Hi, brand new here. So I recently saw photos of myself and had no idea how bad, saggy and old, my neck and jawline area have gotten. I guess I have the 'jowels' issue. And turkey neck. Is this going to be the best device for those issues? The others I am seeing recommend are the Nebulyft, the Nuface, and the NEWA.

Hi Penny! Thank you so much for the update! This device looks amazing! I currently have the Myolift Mini but I like that the Pico has higher micro amps and can be used for the body. I noticed that the probes seem to only be an add on option when you buy the device. Do you happen to know if you can buy the probes separately if you decide you want them at a later time? Thank you!

You can buy the probes separately :) What’s important to note about the power is that this device has the *potential* to reach those microamps-but it is adaptive. Adaptive means that it will sense the impedance of your skin and deliver the right dose of power. The RIGHT dose of power is more important than how high the number is. Check my blog when you get a chance. It’s a super complex concept that even I have a hard time wrapping my brain around lol (because I’m not an engineer). I wouldn’t buy this bc it’s stronger-I think it’s the adaptive part that makes it appealing. I hope I didn’t just confuse things lol

Hi Penny, I bought the Pico toner after watching your video last Dec and it's great. I need to buy a new pair of conductive gloves from Neurotris but I'm in Sweden and have to pay $96 for postage plus $69 for gloves. On arrival there are tariff fees & taxes to pay on top. I can't find the gloves on amazon and I don't know if there are other gloves you are aware of which I can purchase from countries within the EU or even UK as I travel there sometimes? It will save me at least $150 in fees.

Hi Penny! First time to reply to you but certainly not the first time I have watched! I am a big fan of your expertise and the way you graciously present and share it with everyone. As well, the time you take to be careful about what you share and take the time to investigate and to do trials before combining out with any kind of critique! For this device and video - I have some pressing questions due to the time frame within which to take advantage of the discounts... Q. - Can you extend treatment to the scalp with either the included probes or gloves? Q. How long, with say, regular use of probes and also gloves, alternating every day as you recommend, until you might have to replace either? It seems the gloves may have a shorter life than the probes? A little bit confused, as I understood you to say that the Pico, can determine the condition of the skin etc, like say, dehydration and adjust it self to accommodate what your face really needs. I don't see that the Myolift has that technology; so wouldn't the Pico be more beneficial and deliver better results?

You can use it for lymphatic drainage of that area as well as ATP production (which will help the skin) but I would not say that microcurrent is specifically going to lift the under eye area. 😑

I think that this is more advanced than the myolift- not necessarily bc of the microamps but bc of the Pico’s ability to assess impedance and adjust the microamps to deliver optimal energy to the area. It’s the flexibility that pushes it over myolift in my opinion. That said, I still very much like the 600. It’s a great device! Great education and accessories 💜

No you set it to the level at which you begin to feel the current. This is per Neurotris 😊 Higher than that is unnecessary and lower may under treat. So it is very individual ❤️

Years ago I purchased a nuface device. When I used it I developed a red rash on my face. I used both their gel and a regular conduction gel. I’m a nurse and have handled conduction gel countless times and never developed any type of allergic reaction. I contacted the company and they had no answers. They permitted me to return the device and got a refund. I’ve been afraid to try device’s after that. The rash was short lived and cleared quickly. Any ideas? I really want to purchase this but with a no return policy I’m afraid. Help!😢

I think your issue was likely the gel, not microcurrent. What I would do if I were you is patch test a gel or two and see your reaction. The pico comes with gloves (that are antimicrobial) that do not require a conductivity gel to perform treatment. Just water. So that’s good for you also. Btw-the nuface gel (original) gave me a reaction also-tiny little blister/pimple like bumps all over my cheeks. Something in there my skin doesn’t like. There are SO many gels on the market now-if you decide to get the probes you have gel options now. 💜

No problem with filler but need to always wait 2 weeks post any injections to use microcurrent. I DO think that it might make my Botox last a touch less long. It’s hard to test though bc my Botox might just be lasting less long as I get older. But yes, I think microcurrent can affect Botox longevity by a small amount of time. 💜

Hi Penny, you’re awesome and I think what we are all asking is if this is worth the investment especially since most of us probably already own a microcurrent device ( I have the Nuface). This is still a lot of money and since they do not offer a trial period or return policy all we have to go on is your advice. Will I see significant improvement with this over the Nuface? I love the idea of using gloves. But again, my Nuface was not cheap and I also bought attachments to go with it so want to know if this is going to have more meaningful results. I do not see why it wouldn’t but people see a lot of improvement with nuface (albeit not long term if they stop using it) so to say this will give *more* would be hard for me to do. I don’t like the return policy. It’s a good company but I do like a good return policy. They have a warranty which is great. I know you wanted a yes or no but it’s too hard for me to do that 😬😬😬😬

I originally purchased the Nu Face but immediately got a headache from it which was weird because I'm not prone to headaches nor do I have sensitive skin but it was clear I couldn't use it. The directions said to discontinue use if this occurred so I got rid of it and replaced it with a ZIIP. I have a feeling I can tolerate ZIIP instead because it utilizes a couple different forms of current but I'm not totally sure. I hadn't found your wonderful and insanely informative channel yet and the ZIIP was the only other higher end microcurrent device I knew about. I used it today with special attention to heat after what you said and I didn't notice today or any other time excessive heat or the feeling that I could get burnt at all. It can give you a little bite if you go over a blemish which can be slightly painful. I wonder if that's what those other people experienced. What I like about the ZIIP are the multiple treatments for different concerns. The one for under eyes really helps and the one for acne as well, plus general lifting and overall improvement in skin quality. I was a little down on it at first thinking it was just giving temporary results but now that I know more about how microcurrent works and that it is in fact cumulative, I've been more enthusiastic about using it consistently. Skincare has become my pandemic hobby and I've been really consistent about several things: dermabrasion, peels, ZIIP and good topicals. My skin was improving for sure but it wasn't until just a few days ago that I feel like it really turned the corner for the better and I think this can mostly be attributed to the ZIIP. So yes, I like it and would recommend it! If I had known about some of the others like Pico Toner or Myolift I may have gone for one of those instead. I believe in getting the best quality device possible. To this end, I do have one more question for you, if you don't mind. I just ordered a Dr. Pen A6 with a selection of different cartridges. Plus a bunch of the products you recommend for microneedling. I was eager to get started on it but am also now contemplating purchasing the NEWA while it's on sale. I saw you wrote that doing a series of NEWA (8 weeks) before beginning CIT microneedling was preferable. Now I don't know which to add to my routine, a series of microneedling or radio frequency. Any thoughts on how to next incorporate one or both of these would be greatly appreciated! Thank you again for this amazing channel. You have a new and loyal follower in me. :)

I purchased the ZIIP device a few years ago and while it seems to perform really well it can zap you quite often and with mine, the metal probes have peeled parts of the metal off causing sharp edges so I'm unable to use it without possibly scratching my skin. Another issue for me is I don't really want to follow along with a video for each type of protocol. I don't want to deter anyone from trying this one, but wanted to share the part about the peeling probes.

@Rose you can use them both in a routine-microneedling then waiting 7 days to use your NEWA. Use your NEWA for 4 weeks then needle again wait 7 days and repeat, this stretches the needling schedule out but allows you to do both effectively 💜
