@@ChefLindseyFarr Everything is on fleek and it looks so effortless 😄 Fan of your videos! BTW. What do you prefer? By hand or food processor? Does it get flaky with the machine?
@ChefLindseyFarr Жыл бұрын
Yes! You can definitely get it flaky with the machine. My preference depends on how much time I have and the pastry I'm making! Sometimes I do prefer by hand just for the control, but sometimes that's not the best move. Depends on the details!

Never ever stick your hands inside a food processor that is plugged in, no matter what.

Most food processors are designed to only work with the lid on. So it should be safe.

Fastest pie dough I have ever made! I didn't even put it in the fridge to rest since i never touched the butter and I was rolling out in between parchment paper anyhow.

Just curious how big a food processor is needed to process this pie dough? Will a 4 cup processor work or does it need to be bigger?

Looks good, thanks. Two things, what kind of processor blade do you use? Also, I dont think it's great idea to stick your finger into a food processor when it's plugged in :-)
@KMRockwell7 жыл бұрын
I'm also curious as to what blade you're using

I have the receipt from a trip to the emergency room to prove it. And yes, I was attempting to make a pie crust. I nearly lost my finger - the cut was almost to the bone. Respect the sharp!

y the hell people go on here and show a method with nno measurements,,hellllo
@KMRockwell7 жыл бұрын
This isn't a recipe. It's a method. It assumes you already know how much butter/flour to use to make pastry dough. They have beginner recipes all over the web if you're not familiar with how to make pie dough.

Also, they don't say what size food processor- 4 cup, 6 or 7, or 11 or 14 cup ... Geeeeeez
@susannahernst56967 жыл бұрын
She posted the website where you can get the recipe. No need to have an attitude with her. You just didn't look carefully. Spoke too soon?
@susannahernst56967 жыл бұрын
You, of course, don't have all those different sized food processors. Have you ever used your food processor? If yes, then you should be able to figure out which one to use based on the ingredient measurements. Quit complaining.
